The 2022 BGC Youth of the Year Competition & Dinner event took place at Aon Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier on March 3, where five finalists took the stage to compete for BGCC’s most distinguished honor. Our N4N members were chosen to be the event’s sole performance act.
Their Youth of the Year Performance was a pre-recorded music video filmed by professional videographers. The youth got a glimpse of what it’s like to be real artists on set with a real film crew. .

This is a priceless moment of of teen member, Robert, effortlessly recording himself in Soundtrap while I programmed in the Jam Room with younger youth. He is fast & efficient; recording 3 songs by himself that day.
Our “Shy Girls Sing” program is in full force. Jayla (nervously) sings a song here for her peers, who ultimately encourages her in the end for doing so well in the end.
