90 SESSION COUNT

CLICK FOR MORE Jermaine honored National Poetry Month (April) by entering one of his pieces to be considered by the Rooted & Radical Youth Poetry Festival, hosted by Young Chicago Authors. R&R reimagined a youth poetry festival that provides more room for "community" while focusing less on "competition." Youth poets were encouraged to use their voices via their poems as well as through a new youth voting system. Jermaine and his poem made it to the All-Star Team Finals + Awards Showcase on April 30th, where he was able to perform his piece in front of hundreds of Chicagoans at the Dusable Museum.
