As a student at NU, you will be known—by your professors, your peers, and our caring support staff who are committed to your success. Unlike the experience you might have at a larger institution, you won’t have to worry about getting lost in a new learning environment. Through intentional campus events, fun student activities, clubs, and small class sizes, you’ll form deep, meaningful relationships and memories that will last a lifetime.
Engaging Professors
We set a high standard for our educators. The professors we hire are highly trained experts who enjoy spending time with students. At some colleges, classes are so big that you can’t talk to your professor. At NU, classes are small so you’ll have the opportunity to get to know professors that have years of experience in the industry you’re hoping to work in some day.

Our Students
Being at NU means I have the opportunity to study in an amazing country, to learn more about other cultures, and to reach my personal, athletic, and academic goals. I’m the goalie on the men’s soccer team and am enrolled in the five-year BA to MBA program, which lets me get a head start on my MBA while still completing my undergraduate degree. I would recommend NU to a friend because this community is very caring, and the location means we’re surrounded by many amazing businesses and career opportunities.
ALEXANDER THIEHOFE, GERMANY FIVE-YEAR BA TO MBA
Coming to NU was the best experience of my life. After pursuing my master’s degree in social work from India, I enrolled in NU’s Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. This program not only played a key role in my development as a professional, but also helped me develop self-awareness, which has made me a better person. Graduate school was not easy— especially being an international student—but with the help of the wonderful faculty and other support systems like the International Education Department, things got easier. I have built some of the best relationships at NU and have achieved my dream of becoming a mental health professional.

I always say, “People make the value of any place.” I have no doubt and no regrets but rather gratefulness for the community at Northwest University which is so diverse and rich of the most amazing staff that is willing to take the extra steps to adulthood with you. The friends and classmates are some of the best people that have shown me what love really means. I cannot forget to mention the wonderful neighborhood. I have enjoyed Northwest University a lot, and I hope to see you again.

Many of our international students have had great success with our graduate degrees. Here’s what one of our graduates shared about her experience at NU:
Completing my master’s degree at NU was a transformative experience that provided me with advanced technical skills. I credit its rigorous and relevant curriculum for propelling my career to new heights. The program not only deepened my understanding of business dynamics but also sharpened my leadership skills. As a senior manager at a major tech giant, I now lead technical and operational teams. I am thankful for the invaluable education, supportive faculty, and mentorship that contributed to my professional success.
