Then on Sunday, September 14, we will host an electrifying night with Crowder, one of Christian music’s most innovative and enduring acts.
On Friday, October 3, join us for the “Road to Home” Farewell Tour of John Michael Montgomery, whose many #1 singles and countless awards have made him one of country music’s most recognizable voices – and don’t miss a thrilling opening performance from his son, Walker Montgomery! Then country music goes a cappella on Friday, October 17, with the stunning arrangements of internationallybeloved vocal quintet Home Free in their exciting Jukebox Tour, where you pick the songs!
See Grammy-winning bluegrass legend Ricky Skaggs and his band Kentucky Thunder live on our stage on Friday, November 7, for a night of passionate roots music. And finally, our season finale on Friday, December 5, features a holiday performance you won’t want to miss from Postmodern Jukebox, a fan-favorite group who reimagines modern hits with vintage flair.
It is such a delight to offer these fantastic shows to our community, and we can’t wait to see you soon at the Heindl Center!

Lance Burton is widely considered by his peers to be the greatest stage magician of the past century. As magic historian Mike Caveney has stated, “Take every magician in the world, line them up, and give them each 12 minutes. Lance wins!” In 1996, Lance Burton’s first TV special Lance Burton Master Magician: The Legend Begins aired on NBC. This was quickly followed by a series of annual TV specials. He also hosted specials for The History Channel, Discovery, Animal Planet, The Family Channel, and many more. While successful on TV, Lance Burton’s greatest accomplishments have been made in live performance. Working primarily in Las Vegas, he has performed an astounding 15,000 shows for over 15 million fans in his 30-year career. His new live touring show Lance Burton Master Magician & Friends is a mix of illusions, sleight of hand, audience participation, and amazing guest stars - a Las Vegas show suitable for the whole family!

Timeless in a way that few other acts can claim, The Spinners are one of the most iconic and enduring groups in R&B history. With a towering legacy spanning over six decades, The Spinners have never lost their universal appeal, as evidenced most recently by the group’s long-awaited induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2023. The quintet created and came to define the smooth sound of Philadelphia Soul, channeling the highs and lows of romance and heartbreak into a catalog of classic hits, beloved across generations. As the group enters its 70th year, The Spinners remain an integral part of the cultural zeitgeist. A perennial fan favorite, The Spinners continue to perform to sold-out crowds at home and abroad while maintaining a loyal coterie of die-hard aficionados. The Spinners have left an indelible impact in the annals of music history and, most importantly, on the hearts of millions of fans throughout the world.

John Michael Montgomery has turned an uncanny ability to relate to fans into one of country music’s most storied careers. Behind the string of hit records, the roomful of awards, and the critical and fan accolades that have defined his phenomenal success lies a connection that goes beyond his undeniable talent and his proven knack for picking hits. Since the days when “Life’s A Dance” turned him from an unknown artist into a national star, John Michael’s rich baritone has carried that most important of assets–believability. Few artists in any genre sing with more heart than this handsome Kentucky-born artist. Songs like “I Swear,” “I Love the Way You Love Me,” and “I Can Love You Like That” still resonate across the landscape. Asked what he thinks gave him the edge in a career that calls millions but gives stardom to just a few, he pauses then thinks back to the legacy of his parents. “I reckon it was good genes and good blood,” he says with a smile. Few who know the depth and breadth of his own growing legacy would disagree.

Fifteen-time GRAMMY® Award-winner Ricky Skaggs’ career is easily among the most significant in recent country music history. If Skaggs’ burgeoning trophy case full of awards wasn’t already enough evidence of that fact, consider that legendary guitarist Chet Atkins once credited Skaggs with “single-handedly saving country music.” His life’s path has taken him to various musical genres, from where it all began in bluegrass music to striking out on new musical journeys, while still leaving his musical roots intact. Born July 18, 1954, in Cordell, Kentucky, Ricky struck his first chords on a mandolin over 60 years ago, and he continues to do his part to lead the recent roots revival in music. Clearly his passion for it puts him in the position to bring his lively, distinctively American form of music out of isolation and into the ears and hearts of audiences across the country and around the world.

Postmodern Jukebox will be bringing their acclaimed “Magic, Moonlight & Mistletoe” World Tour to the Heindl Center for the Performing Arts with some special bonus selections added for the Holidays. Concertgoers can expect to enter a parallel musical universe where modern-day earworms and iconic pop hits alike are reimagined in classic genres like 1920s jazz, Swing, Doo-wop and Motown, and brought to life by a cast of some of the world’s best singers, dancers, and instrumentalists. When Scott Bradlee started making YouTube videos that remade the hits of today in the classic styles of yesterday, a “viral” success story was born — one that quickly led to sold out shows across North America and Europe in the Summer of 2014. Ten years and two billion views on their YouTube channel later, a Postmodern Jukebox show has become the rare concert act that appeals across generations; older audience members will fall in love with the timeless sounds and nostalgic sensibilities, while younger fans will be thrilled by the fresh take on current pop culture and the sheer virtuosity of the performers on stage. Dress vintage, for the full effect!
