North Shore Culture Compass
launched March 12, 2020 at The Polygon Gallery A culmination of 3 years of research, fundraising, and collaboration, the North Shore Culture Compass was launched. Developed on a GIS-based platform, the hub tool is a free online map that visualizes the rich cultural offerings of the North Shore. As a community resource, the Culture Compass increases our collective awareness of the North Shore’s cultural core — including the First Nations and diverse communities — promoting social engagement, new community interactions, and an understanding of what makes our shared home unique.
