RAPTURE LIVING

My 2060.

Where I live: I’ve lived in 2060 for over 20 years

I start my day with…the school run on weekdays followed by a coffee from the Two Good Kiosk at Vic X before I jump on the Metro. On weekends I recharge on the local bush tracks at Balls Head Reserve or Berry Island.

My fave coffee spots include… From Silvia at The Coal Loader Café for a stroll through the garden and a chance to say hi to the resident chickens! When I’m on the run, Coffee on Miller is always great, and Two Good is perfectly positioned for my commute. I also love how they donate profits to help women who’ve experienced domestic violence and homelessness rebuild their lives.

My top brunch spots are… The North Spoon in McMahons Point, especially if you can nab one of their outdoor tables. Le Coq & Fish Bistro in Waverton has recently started opening for breakfast. It’s a great

spot sitting al fresco and the kids can play on the grass nearby.

If I’m heading for a drink after work, I’ll go to...Sol Bread + Wine on Walker Street. The aperitif hour is fun with a superb selection of wines and some delicious nibbles. The Greens in St Leonards Park is also a great spot for al fresco drinks.

My fave places for dinner are… Glorietta on Mount Street or Piato in McMahons Point are both always winners for a relaxed dinner with friends. And the pressed prawn toast at Soluna on Walker Street is life changing! For an after-school treat on a Friday, we’ll head to Capo Pizza.

I love North Sydney because… It has such a great community and offers so much convenience. And even after living here for 20 years, I still get regular pinch me moments when I see a glimpse of the harbour.

We proudly acknowledge the Cammeraygal people of the Eora nation as customary owners of the land on which we live, work and share these stories. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and future.
