I work as: Owner Manager of Mortgage Choice in North Sydney
My fave coffee spot is... the Rusty Dust on Walker Street. It’s really close to my apartment, so I can pop in on my way back from the gym or a run. My go-to order is one of their delicious Chai Lattes.
When I grab brekky on the run, I’ll go to…Bay X Espresso in Lavender Bay and I’ll get avocado on toast with a poached egg. My office is in Bay 5 which is right next to the café so it’s very easy to run down there at brekkie or lunch to grab something delicious and take it back to my desk.
If I’m taking a client for lunch or dinner I’d go to…Loulou Bistro in Milsons Point. I love that this restaurant is just around the corner from the office as I’m a huge fan of anything French - Champagne and food included!
My fave place for afterwork drinks and socialising would be... The Green Moustache Rooftop Bar on Miller Street in Winter and The Greens up in St Leonards Park for alfresco dining and drinks in Summer.
My fave spot to escape from my desk is...Wendy Whiteley’s Secret Garden in Lavender Bay. An amazing hidden gem in the middle of a busy city with fabulous views. It feels a world away from everything.
I chose North Sydney as the location for our office for so many reasons including its proximity to the harbour and the city, the beautiful views and how the landscape is constantly evolving. The new Victoria Cross station is going to change everything again and I can’t wait for the North Sydney Olympic Pool renovation to be finished and for it to reopen.
