Where I work: I’m the Marketing Coordinator for North Sydney Community Centre
My fave coffee spot is... Every morning, I walk to work and it’s a must to stop by The Grumpy Baker on Bay Road in Waverton on my way. I usually get an Oat Cappuccino. I also love the variety of pastries they have, but my favourite, which I always get with my coffee, is the almond croissant.
If I get brekky, I usually go to... My-go to is ALWAYS Bacino Espresso in North Sydney. You can’t go wrong with their melted peanut butter toast. The amount of peanut butter they put on each slice is another level.
My fave spots for a quick lunch when I’m busy are...For lunch, I always like to keep it light and fresh. I’d definitely go to the Library Café on Miller Street for a halloumi wrap. It’s the perfect size, full of veggies, and a healthy alternative - a perfect on-the-go lunch.
My fave place for afterwork drinks and socialising would be...
The team’s favourite place to go for drinks after a busy day (usually on Thursdays) is the Union Hotel. It has a great atmosphere and the drinks and food are good. I’ll usually order the chicken schnitzel with fries.
My fave things to do in North Sydney include…On Fridays, I never miss the Unofficial Run Club. It’s a 5:30am wake-up for a 6am run across the Harbour Bridge from Kirribilli. On Saturdays, I go to the pottery class at the North Sydney Community Centre. It’s a great place to meet new people, socialise and get messy with some clay - I love it! And I always look forward to going to the Northside Produce Market at Ted Mack Civic Park on the first and third Saturday of the month. I get fresh vegies and a sweet treat and the vibe is always welcoming and fun.
