Buy a bucket of four cans of JD & Cola for $44, and claim your jersey, personalised with your name of choice at the JD locker room on-site. Tie it all together with an $8 shot of Fireball from the roaming Fireball cheerleaders. My 2060.

WANT TO TELL US ABOUT YOUR 2060 FAVES? EMAIL US hello @ whatson2060.com.au

Name: Lisa MacDonald

I’m the Northside Produce Market Coordinator based at the North Sydney Community Centre

My fave coffee spot is the Library Cafe on Miller St, down from the Stanton Library, and I order an oat latte or a cappuccino. My fave place to grab a quick lunch is 63 Degrees Eats and Sweets and I’ll get their delicious Pad Kee Mao.

If I go out for a drink I’ll sit out on the deck over the water at The Flying Bear in Kirribilli when the sun is shining. A great spot to enjoy a glass of bubbles. My fave local walk is around North Sydney and Kirribilli when I go to visit my dad in the James Milson Aged Care Village. I always enjoy walking down to the harbour at nearby Milson Park and strolling around the surrounding streets.

A secret spot I love in 2060 is Sub Base Platypus. Formerly a torpedo factory, submarine base and gasworks, it’s now a community area with a park and views across the water to Neutral Bay. It’s never

crowded and is a really enjoyable local harbourside walk.

One of the things I love about North Sydney is the area around the Community Centre where I’m based for work. The surrounding streets are lined with old buildings and away from the busy roads, it’s almost like a village from days gone by!

A community gem in 2060 would be the Northside Produce Market!

Not only does it offer some of NSW’s best fresh produce directly from the farmers who grew it, and awardwinning artisan food products served by the makers, it’s also is a great place of connection where you can relax and enjoy a sense of community. The markets are held in Ted Mack Civic Park on the first and third Saturday of every month from 8am-12pm, so why not come for a browse and a chat with our local producers. We’re dog friendly too so you can bring the whole family!

We proudly acknowledge the Cammeraygal people of the Eora nation as customary owners of the land on which we live, work and share these stories. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and future.
