Spotlight on Everest
Over the Summer holidays some of our students did not spend their days relaxing at the beach and enjoying the beautiful Summer weather here in Melbourne. Instead, Year 4 student Terrance and Year 5 student Jethro along with their fathers took on a rather different challenging task.
They successfully completed the Everest Base Camp trek. It was 12 gruelling days. They took 9 days to reach base camp (5,464m) and 3 days to return. Despite the dangerous conditions, including negative 23 degrees whilst trekking, the same food every day, steep hills, walking with low oxygen, and snowing weather, they ultimatly conquered the challenge!

What an AMAZING acheivement! Well done Terrance and Jethro!
