TERM 4 | WEEK 2 | 17th OCTOBER 2025

A MESSAGE FROM THE PRIMARY TEAM

Dear Parents and Carers,

This week has been filled with enriching experiences for our students as they have continued to settle back into a new term I had the privilege of joining our Year 3 students on their first camp, which was a fantastic experience. I extend my sincere gratitude to the staff for their dedication in supporting our students through the variety of activities. Highlights included a scenic coastal walk in Anglesea, with a hike offering breathtaking views of the coastline, a beautiful reminder of God’s creation.

Students in Years 2 – 6 took part in annual progress testing this week administered by Academic Assessment Services These assessments provide valuable insights that help us tailor our learning programs to meet each student’s individual needs. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about the testing

Our swimming program for Prep – Year 2 students commenced this week Students need to wear their full sports uniform with their bathers underneath. Girls should wear one-piece bathers or a rash vest over two-piece bathers, and boys should wear board shorts with a rash vest. In a separate small bag (not their school bag), students must bring clean underwear, a towel, a plastic bag for wet items, a hairbrush or comb, and goggles (optional). Please ensure that all items are clearly labelled.

Finishing off the week, our Prep students participated in their Fire Education Incursion on Friday. This program, delivered by Fire Rescue Victoria, helps young children understand fire safety and what to do in an emergency. During the incursion, students learnt about the importance of fire safety, how to respond in an emergency, including calling triple zero, and practised the "Stop, Drop, Cover and Roll" technique. They also had the exciting opportunity to visit a fire truck, making the experience both fun and educational.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight."

Proverbs 3:5-6

God bless you,
