On behalf of our Board of Directors and the Metro SA Chamber staff, we hope that our 2025 San Antonio Voter Guide will help you learn more about the many individualsrunningforseatsontheSanAntonioCityCouncil

This is a critical election. This will be the first time in sixteen years that the mayor’s seat does not have an incumbent. Twenty-seven citizens are running for mayor. All of the other council seats are contested as well. This will also be the first time that the mayor and council will serve a four-year term under the changes to the City Charter.

TheCityofSanAntonioregularlyadoptspoliciesthatimpacttheeconomicvitalityof the entire region, so this Voter Guide is intended to help our members better understand where the candidates stand on issues that affect you, your family and yourbusinessororganization

As the Metro SA Chamber, we are dedicated to fostering a strong business environment in San Antonio With the mayoral election approaching on May 3, 2025, we have compiled this voter guide to provide our members and the broader community with information about the candidates seeking the city’s highest office Candidates are listed based on campaign funding, as reported by local news sources, followed by an alphabetical listing Some biographies have been edited for accuracy and clarity Candidates without available information are listed at the end of the group for the position they are seeking

Like many others, I chose San Antonio. Over a decade ago I chose to move to San Antonio to build a company, and I've chosen to stay here to start and raise a family. I want our children and grandchildren to choose San Antonio in the future. What is your favorite Fiesta event?

Manny is the only candidate in this race who has run a small business for over 20 years, expert in multi-billion dollar developments, and literally represents businesses at his law firm.
