Dear Members of Alpha Kappa Alpha:

Congratulations on the outstanding job that your group has done to become an active chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Your service to the community will be welcomed!

As a retired high school principal, I had the great honor of watching several of your members grow from high school into outstanding young women. To see them continue as mature women to not only serve our community but to be role models for young women is so rewarding. I have watched several of your members work on projects through non-profits such as The Wildcat Foundation. Two years ago when I wrote a letter of support for your mission, I did so with absolute certainty that the members that I knew would work diligently to complete the process. Thanks to all of you for proving me right!!

Best of luck as you continue to serve our community and make not just me but all your former teachers and principals proud. I will enjoy watching your group grow and provide a stellar example of service to our community.
