Even though our students are attending classes online, the staff can recognize certain traits in the students. We are highlighting students who are selected by Riverside staff for their exceptional work in their classes and as positive role models for their peers. These are students who are d Competing For What They Dream For! We have some amazing students so we have a lot of highlights! There are other photos throughout this issue of the North Morrow Times. Take a look -- these kids are our future! Here are the September 12th grade class captains:
Juanito Reyna - Juan has shown that he is a very responsible and motivated young man even in the face of such adversity. Keep up the great work.-Ms. Kirk
Cody Hayes - Cody is taking school very seriously by participating in his classes and completing his work.-Mrs. Baker
Jose Ruiz Jose is exactly the type of student you want as a Class Captain. He understands the material (College math by the way) and engages in classroom discussions and activities. But more importantly he's interested in the success of others. Jose is willing to help other students with their work and understanding of the material. During distance learning he has been organized and self motivated to learn the material. Thank you Jose for being an awesome influence on my classroom! -Mr. Davis
Victor Barrera Pineda- is an excellent student by any measure. He has jumped into Comprehensive Distance Learning with enthusiasm; he’s engaged during class assignments. He communicates professionally with teachers, seeks help when needed and knows when and where to find answers himself. In addition, he is punctual with his attendance and assignments. Victor's creative and humorous backgrounds entertain his teachers and peers and show his acumen and flair for technology -Ms. Jordan
