Two new faces greet public at the Boardman Chamber of Commerce Local 1994 RHS graduate Torrie Philippi Griggs took over the reins as Executive Director of Boardman Chamber on April 29th, just in time

Torrie Griggs, Executive Director for the Candidates’ Forum. Born and raised in Boardman, Torrie graduated in Marketing from Oregon Institute of Technology and then spent several years working as a Physical Therapist Technician for Eastern Oregon Therapy in Hermiston. She left the area, moving to Arizona where she earned her Massage Therapy license and then moved to Hermiston and started her own business in 2005. In December last year, Torrie was voted onto Boardman Chamber of Commerce board of directors. “When the opportunity for this job came up,” she says, “I applied.” With her marketing degree and working knowledge of the Chamber, she felt she fit the position. They agreed. “The job is fulfilling; it changes
