Or had a small animal that doesn’t transport well? Dan Hansen Mobil Veterinarian Services from Lexington is just what you are looking for. Dan Hansen’s Mobile Veterinarian Services travels right to your house. Hansen serves Morrow, Umatilla and Gilliam Counties. Hansen grew up in Boardman, his parents, Kent and Paula Hansen moved to the area in 2001. After graduating from Riverside High school in 2008, Hansen attended Eastern Oregon College in LaGrande where he graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in AG Science, minoring in Chemistry, Biology and Animal Science. He then moved to
Corvallis and attended OSU’s Carlson College of Veterinary medicine in 2018, where he received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Degree. After receiving his degree Hansen moved to Lexington and purchased his mobile Van with the help of BCDA and Willow Creek Economic Development grants. “I’d like to thank the Boardman Community Development Association and the Willow Creek Valley Economic Development Group who cosponsored a grant that went directly towards the purchase of this mobile clinic. It really made it possible as a relatively new business owner to get up and going and it’s going to serve all of the County very well. I feel blessed these two groups are willing to invest in a local guy with a
family who has dreamed about coming back to Morrow County and practicing veterinary medicine,” says Hansen. Hansen is married to his wife Seren; they have three children; Mora, 6 years old; Roman, 4 and Jubal who turns 2 next month.
Hansen handles countless veterinary procedures. For small animals: spays and neuters, dentals, wellness exams, vaccinations, flea and tick medication, emergency care and stabilization, some orthopedic procedures. Large animal: equine dentals, equine castration, health certificates, wellness exams, vaccinations, lameness exams, emergency services. Bovine and small ruminants: herd health, pregnancy diagnosis, health certificates, breeding soundness exams and emergency services.
