Boardman Chamber of Commerce is officially open for business on Monday, April 1st in their new office at SAGE Center, even though they are still unpacking boxes of furniture and supplies. Pictured are (L-R) Diane Wolfe, CEO; Sue French, Receptionist and Amber Killingbeck, Assistant Director.

Chamber sets up their office at SAGE Center After months of planning, anticipation and packing, the Boardman Chamber of Commerce has officially moved its office to the SAGE Center located at 101 Olson Road, Boardman. We are busy settling in, setting up our store and unpacking but we are still able to assist you for any of your chamber needs. Please note that while the chamber portion of the building is open for business, the store and exhibit areas will be

closed until the official grand opening of the SAGE Center on June 1st. Our phone number (541-481-3014) and emails remain the same and our mail will still be received at P.O. Box 1 in Boardman. We are so thrilled to be a part of the SAGE Center and welcome you to stop by our new offices! Thank you to those who volunteered their time (and vehicles) to assist in the move- you are much appreciated!

April chamber luncheon April 17th Thank your Administrative Assistants for all the work they do and bring them to the lunch in honor of Administrative Assistants Day. Mark your calendars for our next Boardman Chamber luncheon on Wednesday, April 17th at noon at the Port of Morrow’s Riverfront Center. Our guest speaker is Dr. Mark Mulvihill, superintendent of the InterMountain Education Service

District (ESD) and appointed member of the Oregon Education Investment Board. The InterMountain ESD is a public agency charged with assisting local school districts in improving student performance, enables school districts to operate more efficiently and economically, and provide leadership in helping Baker, Union, Umatilla and Morrow counties address demographic

changes and the impact those changes will have on the needs of their schools and communities. Dr. Mulvihill will also be sharing information on Oregon education reform. This is a luncheon you won’t want to miss! Cost for lunch is $10, and is catered by The Sunrise at Boardman Cafe. An RSVP is required by Monday, April 15 th(541)481-3014.
