Dear Friends of Chaverim, After 25 years of operating, Chaverim are proud to be writing a Sefer Torah ɽȿ ¸´»¸Á» Rabbi Shlomo Halevi Halstuk » ŵ.

Rabbi Halstuk was the inspiring force behind Chaverim in its early years. His encouragement and support helped Chaverim establish itself to the success it is today.

In honour of his upcoming 23rd Yartzeit, Chaverim are dedicating a new Sefer Torah in his memory. The Sefer Torah will be used at all Chaverim’s camps and Shabbatons.

We are asking you to consider a contribution towards the cost of this new Sefer Torah by dedicating a Parsha or an Omud etc. (please see enclosed leaflet).

The Sefer Torah which is being especially written for Chaverim will be finished in Crowland Road shul – Rabbi Halstuk’s shul for over 30 years and the founding home of Chaverim - with the grand Hachnosas Sefer Torah taking place this summer, in this year’s Chaverim Summer Camp.

Please respond generously to this wonderful appeal which will help Chaverim and honour a true Tzaddik who only had the mind of many young people in his heart.
