On behalf of the Tournament Committee at Northland Country Club, you are cordially invited to play in the 98th Men’s Invitational, to be held from August 9th through August 13th, 2023 in Duluth, Minnesota.

Connor Bergman, PGA Head Golf Professional Northland Country ClubNorthland Members will be able to register through ForeTees beginning at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, April 5th. Registration will remain open exclusively to Northland Members until Noon on Wednesday, April 19th, at which time ForeTees registration will close.
Members who wish to register for the event following the April 19th deadline should do so by contacting a member of the Northland Professional Staff.
Northland Member Entry Fee is $395. This entry fee includes golf, food, tee gift, and prizes.
Non-Member registration will open at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, April 25th and will remain open until the field is full. The registration link is:

Student Entry Fee is $395, which includes golf, food, tee gift, and prizes.
Non-Members interested in taking a cart for the event are asked to pay the optional cart add-on fee at the time of registration.
The last day to withdraw from the event without penalty is Wednesday, July 26th. Players withdrawing after this date are subject to forfeiture of their entry fee.
After the field fills, interested players (whether Members or Non-Members) are able to register for a waitlist by contacting a member of the Northland Professional Staff.
Championship Division - Gross Scores
Senior Division - Gross Scores
Players aged 50 years and older at the time of the event are eligible for the Senior Division
Gold Tee Division - Net Scores
Senior Players who wish to play from the Gold Tees are eligible for the Gold Tee Division
Each Player will play an 18-Hole Stroke Play qualifying round to determine Match Play bracket placement and seeding.
The top 31 qualifiers, plus Defending Champion Mike Christensen, will be placed in the Championship Division championship bracket. Matches will be played from the Blue Tees.
The top 15 qualifiers, plus Defending Champion Phil Ebner, will be placed in the Senior Division championship bracket. Matches will be played from the White Tees.
The top 7 qualifiers, plus Defending Champion Craig Dahl, will be placed in the Gold Tee Division championship bracket. Matches will be played from the Gold Tees.
All players who fail to qualify for their division’ s championship bracket will be placed into an 8-player bracket based on their qualifying round score. With the exception of the Gold Tee Division brackets, all matches will be played from the White Tees.
Following qualifying and bracket creation, match play will be conducted to determine which player advances in each bracket.

Breakfast Buffet available from 6:00 AM until 9:00 AM
Lunch available from 10:45 AM until 2:00 PM
Stag Night Dinner from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM
Discussion of Players begins promptly at 8:15 PM in the J.R. Link Grill
Matches begin at 7:00 AM on Holes 1 & 10 and continue until approximately 2:00 PM
Breakfast Buffet available from 6:00 AM until 9:00 AM
Lunch available from 10:45 AM until 2:00 PM
The Invitational Dinner beigins at 6:00 PM
All participants are invited to attend the Invitational Dinner with a plus one
Matches begin at 7:00 AM on Holes 1 & 10 and continue until approximately 2:00 PM

Matches begin at 7:00 AM on Hole 1
Senior Championship Match begins at 1:00 PM - Championship Match begins at 1:30 PM

Practice Round participants will have the option of entering into Gross Skins & Field Events
$40 entry fee
All participants will have the option of entering a Skins game during their Qualifying Round
Each division will have separate skins games

Each Non-Championship Bracket will have an optional Players Pool available
$50 entry fee
There will be a discussion of all Championship & Senior Championship players
The discussion will begin promptly at 8:15 PM on Thursday evening in the J.R. Link Grill
