STOP THE BLEED PRESENTATION Ages 55+ | Presentation by Truman Medical Center Stop The Bleed was developed by several groups and is endorsed by the Department of Defense and the American College of Surgeons. Its primary focus is to teach the public that uncontrolled bleeding is the primary cause of death in traumatic situations (accidental or violent). It is a very informative lecture and hands on where each participant practices tourniquet application and compression/packing of wounds.
