PERFORMING ARTS CAMP

Ages 5 – 11 | Ms. Heather Join us for our Performing Arts Camp! Four days of Singing, Dancing, Acting, Comedy, and Games! Come and learn acting styles, dance techniques, new songs, jokes, and more! Along with team building that comes with Performing Arts such as, healthy self-image, concentration, dedication, leadership skills, and most importantly, FUN! Please have children dress comfortably with athletic or tennis shoes please, no sandals. Please make sure that students pack a sack lunch and a water bottle.

PIONEER CAMP

Ages 5 – 11 | Ms. Heather Join us for Pioneer Camp! Four fun filled days where we learn about what it was like to be a Pioneer in America. We will be square dancing, making fresh lemonade, stamping designs in tin, making pioneer food like drop biscuits and churning butter, playing Pioneer games, and more! Each day we will craft, dance, play, and cook! Please have students bring a sack lunch and water bottle.

YOUTH BAKING CAMP

Ages 7 - 11 | Ms. Heather Join us for this Imaginative Baking Camp! Four fun filled days of baking and creating in the kitchen. Day 1: Breakfast Baking - scones, muffins, biscuits, donuts. Day 2: Cupcakes – baking cupcakes, filling, frostings, piping skills, and decorating. Day 3: Dough and Bread - fruit bread, homemade butter, garlic bread, and pizza dough. Day 4: Sweets - chocolate making, gummy candy, rock candy, and more. Please have students wear closed toe shoes and comfortable clothes. Please send each child with a sack lunch and a water bottle.

Ages 10-15 | Ms. Brenda Kids in this class will enjoy making a bracelet that will keep them busy.

CELEBRATING SPRING ART CLASS

Ages 5 - 13 | Ms. Heather We will enjoy celebrating spring in Art by making sculptures of flowers and butterflies in clay, working with watercolor to make a spring scene and a mixed media butterfly suncatcher.

EXPLORE 4-H: CLOVER KIDS

Ages 5 - 13 | Ms. Heather We will explore different 4-H project areas such as, arts, cooking essentials, science, outdoor exploration, technology, etc. The kids will participate in hands-on activities that will allow them to explore their interests and maybe even find a new one! Along with our activities, we will learn a new quick and easy recipe for a snack!

Ages 10-15 | Ms. Brenda Kids will have fun creating Heishi Stretch Bracelets that are colorful and can be stacked for different looks.

BEACH TOWEL TIE DYE

Ages 5 - 13 | Ms. Heather Come and tie-dye with us! This year we will be Tie Dying Beach Towels! These are customizable and so much fun! For students under 9yrs old, we kindly ask that a parent or guardian accompanies the student during the class.

Ages 10-15 | Ms. Brenda Kids will have fun creating an aqua hemp wrap bracelet that will remind them of the beach. It is summer after all!

OUTDOOR PAINTING

Ages 5 – 13 | Ms. Heather Come and paint outside with us! We will be doing Jackson Pollock emotion painting, straw painting, and more! Each child will bring home a project on Canvas. Please wear clothes and shoes that can get messy. We will meet at Shelter 6. In case of inclement weather, we will meet at the Parks and Recreation Center.

SOLAR SYSTEM PLANET COOKIES

Ages 5 - 13 | Ms. Heather Join us for this fun cookie making class! We will learn to make sugar cookies in different sizes along with special cookie icing in many colors then create a solar system of cookies! They will get to bring their cookies home after class.

BACKYARD BIRDS

Ages 5-13 | Mrs. Carol Come learn about birds that you might see in your backyard or in local parks. We will learn what they look like, the sounds they make, what they eat, nesting habits, and more. Each child will receive a packet which will have sheets for each bird, a list of birding links, and a birding journal. We will break about half way into the class, if weather permits, we will walk over to the park to look for birds, then come back and discuss the birds that we saw and finish the rest of the class.

Each child will receive a packet which will have sheets for each bird, a list of birding links, and a birding journal. We will take a short break half-way through the class, if weather permits ,we will walk over to the park to talk about where to look for birds of prey, then come back to finish the class.
