BINGO & LUNCHEON

Join your friends or make new ones as you play multiple rounds of bingo and enjoy a catered lunch. Starting in January, participants can win unlimited games by winning bingo bucks for every game won after their first mystery prize and will be eligible for the blackout prize!

Second Tuesday at 10:00 am. Lunch is served at 11:30 am. Fee: $7

Fitness drumming takes a simple movement - drumming - and turns it into a full-body workout that will leave you smiling, sweating, and feeling great. These are 10-week sessions. If you’re not sure this class is for you, come one time and watch or try out the class for free!

Session 2: Mondays, April 7 - June 30, 10:00 am - 11:00 am (No class April 14, May 19 & 26, June 16)

This class will use light hand weights in a series of exercises to build strength and increase balance in the

body. Weights are provided. Please bring a small towel and a water bottle.

LINE DANCING CLASS (SPONSORED BY CCSS)

Ages 55+ | Joyce Burrows

Line dancing is a fun way to get some exercise for both your body and your mind, and you don’t need a partner to do it! No prior experience is necessary. You will learn beginner dances in a step-by-step process. For ease of moving around on the floor, it’s recommended that you wear either slick shoes or “dance socks” that go over the toes of your shoes. Several pairs of these socks will be available to borrow during class. This session will include 6 teaching classes plus the July Senior Dance.

Ages 55+ | Zachary Thompson, Prosecuting Attorney C.E.A.S.E is Citizen Education Against Scams and Exploitation. It uses education and notification to stop scammers before they strike. The Clay County Prosecutor’s Office is dedicated to getting important information into the hands of citizens before they become the victim of a scam. This is worth your time to come to learn how you can protect yourself by being informed about the latest scams targeting our community.

CROWN B BISON RANCH

Crown B Bison Ranch has an amazing experience to offer you! We will get to experience a safe and up-close encounter with a view of the majestic state and national mammal! We’ll be able to meet the herd, hand feed bison and learn how bison helped shape the ecosystem of the Great Plains. This is an experience like no other! They have a small gift shop, and you can purchase meat at their ranch or order it online prior to the trip and pick it up when we tour. You would need to bring a small cooler for your meat. It would be good to bring some sunglasses and a hat.

hot on the trail of this city’s most notorious Goodfellas. Don’t make us twist your arm. Grab your partner in crime, hop on the bus and you’ll be immersed in a melodramatic look at mob homes and hangouts, turf wars and infamous crimes like the Union Station massacre. Come dressed in your best gangster attire or dress from the 1920’s and 1930’s and enjoy the whole experience! We will have a mouthwatering Italian meal together when we return to the center. Don’t worry about the heat, because we will not be outside except to get on the bus and off the bus. There will be very little walking for those of you that are limited to walking, this would be a great trip for you to enjoy!

MYSTERY TRIP

What? We will have plenty of fun! Where? Not sure? It’s time for a new adventure where you get to trust me on your destination!
