I t all begins with a good crust. My top pick was this rectangular shaped pizza crust---Two in a pack. It was the perfect pallet for creating a fresh veggie pizza. It’s already baked and ready to top with your favorite foods.

Preheat oven to 425 degrees

• 1 prepared pizza crust, Brooklynbred brand preferred (can be found at Safeway)

• 1 fresh carrot, thinly sliced

• 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced

• 1/2 green and red peppers, thinly sliced

• 1 homegrown tomato, slice thin (best)

• 1 small zucchini, sliced thin

• Top with diced, green onions

• Cover with 1 cup shredded cheese, (pick your favorite) Place pizza on cookie sheet. Cover in foil. Add to hot oven and bake 20 minutes. Uncover and cook an additional 12 minutes, until crust looks crispy, and vegetables are soft. Slice, serve and eat. This is so delicious, hearty, and healthy. There’s nothing like a good piece of pizza to lift your mood!
