aris and Knute met when a group of friends gathered in downtown Walnut Creek at the brewpub Pyramid (now the location of Sauced). It was the summer of 2002, and Paris was visiting her college roommate Shawn. Shawn was friends with Knute from their Northgate High School days. Paris was drawn to Knute immediately, but she still had another year at the University of Colorado at Boulder to finish. While Knute worked in commercial real estate at Grubb & Ellis, they maintained a friendly relationship over the miles. They started seriously dating in 2004, but it was long-distance. So in 2005 Paris made her way to the Bay Area to be closer to Knute. She found a job at Coldwell Banker in residential real estate, and she and Knute soon discovered they were a perfect match. They married in 2006 at Ruby Hill in Pleasanton. Knute, who now works for Newmark Knight Frank commercial real estate in Walnut Creek as a Senior Managing Director, is a local. He grew up in Pleasant Hill, and then at age 16 he moved to the Woodlands neighborhood, where his parents still live. He graduated from Northgate High School in 1997 and attended Arizona State University with a degree in Justice Studies. Paris and Knute started out in the Woodlands as well, moving to the Rancho Paraiso area in 2015. Paris was born in Texas, then lived in Colorado before relocating to the Bay Area. The Bucklews now have three active children: Ellie, age 12, Tate, age 9, and Nora, age 3. Prior to the Shelter-in-Place order, their weekends were full of kids’ sports activities and family bike rides or hikes. Summer was full

of swim team activities. Like so many young families in our neighborhood, they have found a ‘summer family’ in Scottsdale swim community. Paris says of the children, “They have missed all of their organized sports and activities during Shelter in Place. We mostly try to enjoy the outdoors now with hikes and bike rides, but it’s been tough on them. They miss their friends and teachers.” The two older kids attend St. Mary Elementary in downtown Walnut Creek. Nora attends Community Arts Preschool and Music Together classes with her mom. “We spent a lot of time at Arbolado Park and the Ygnacio Valley Library,” adds Paris. “So having them closed for the past several months has been tough.” Instead Nora is enjoying playing with her baby dolls, making messes with paint and play dough, and trying to keep up with her older brother and sister. Tate plays the drums and puts on shows for the family in the garage. He is hoping to get back to swim team, Walnut Creek Little League and St. Mary’s CYO Basketball, with his dad as coach. Ellie has been busy baking or making recipes she finds

on Pinterest. She is waiting for her other favorite activities to reopen like Club Volleyball with Vibe, swim team and hip hop classes at Ace Dance Academy. A five-year-old Goldendoodle named Doug rounds out the family with his goofy personality and attempts at escape. He is often seen lounging in the front window, keeping an eye on the neighborhood. “During Shelter in Place, it is amazing how much people are always out walking their dogs!” says Paris. “It has a very charming and old school feel in that there is always someone to borrow an egg or some butter from if you realize you are out and don’t feel like running up to the store. I love that it’s a quick bike ride to Encina Shopping Center where we can grab a bagel or a frozen yogurt. We also like to walk over to see the horses nearby.” The Bucklews love their Bay Area sports team, no doubt thanks to Knute’s influence. He’s an avid fan of the Warriors especially. The family also enjoys going to A’s games. Knute had the unique opportunity to cheer on the 49ers in Super Bowl LIV this past February in Miami, even though they didn’t come home with the title.

Shelter in Place means more time hanging out in the backyard Doug

This summer they’ve planned a trip to Sunriver, Oregon to bike down the Deschutes River Trail, go fishing and rafting. They’ve planned a second trip to Tahoe, an annual one they take with two other families from Walnut Creek who have all raised their kids together. As Paris reflects on the new reality caused by the pandemic she adds, “Through Shelter In Place, we have realized how much we really took our neighborhood for granted.

Life has had to slow down so much that we really enjoy the small things that we felt like we were always too busy to notice. We have spent so much time in our backyard, making s’mores at our fire pit, reading, kids jumping on the trampoline, drawing with sidewalk chalk, hiking in the hills behind our house, and enjoying a slower paced life.” They love when neighbors stop by for a quick chat. It’s something many of us are cherishing these days as we all slow down.

Acts of Kindness

Making masks is a labor of love for two Northgate friends By Kara Navolio, Resident since 1991

W

hen the Shelter-in-Place order began in mid-March, Vicky DeYoung’s quilting group stopped meeting to make quilts for charities. Instead Vicky, a resident since 2013, continued making quilts at home, alone. But then her niece told her about mask making groups that were getting started to provide masks to healthcare workers that couldn’t get enough masks in the early days of the pandemic. She mentioned her project to her friend Julia Holland, who has lived down the street on Arbolado Drive for the past 21 years, and Julia wanted to help out too. Nearly four months later, the two friends, who met over a shared love of succulent gardening about four years ago, have sewn 2500 masks. The majority have been donated to hospitals all over the Bay Area, including Kaiser, Alta Bates, Sutter Antioch, UCSF, Eden and UCSF Children’s Hospital Oakland. They’ve also made masks for adults and children at day care centers that were open for children of essential workers, the police at SFO International Airport and Meals-on-Wheels delivery drivers.

Vicky and Julia, two friends that have come together to make and donate masks during the pandemic.

Samples of the 2500 masks made for local healthcare workers and others

Vicky’s quilting group had plenty of fabric to share, and Julia had a friend who donated plenty more. Even though the elastic was hard to come by, Vicky eventually found a craft store in Texas that was able to ship it quickly. They found a community of fellow mask makers. As Vicky said, “I have connected with various mask making groups on Facebook and Nextdoor to share patterns, methods and supply sources. My quilting group is also making masks – about 6000 in total with our 2500.” During the early days of the pandemic Vicky and Julia spent 5-6 hours per day at their sewing machines. Initially nurses were wearing these homemade masks over the one provided by the hospital for extra protection since short supply meant having to use the same hospital-provided mask all day long. Julia added, “It’s been a really good thing for us, to give us a purpose during this time. It’s been very therapeutic to help in this way.” And they continue making masks and donating them. Now that masks are required by everyone in California, the need is still there. They make different sizes for adults and children and different styles as well. The biggest challenge is finding fabric appropriate for men. Vicky was thrilled to find a solid dark blue fabric for the masks they recently made for the SFO police. Vicky and Julia have a message they would like to share with the neighborhood: “Please wear your masks and help keep everyone safe.” Note from the Content Coordinator: In this “Acts of Kindness” column I invite you to share your stories. Tell us about what you or your neighbors are doing to spread kindness. I hope this will inspire us all to make the world a little nicer. Please send stories and photos to knavolio@bestversionmedia.com.

Business Profile

Northgate neighbor and remodeling expert builds more than creative new spaces By Kara Navolio, Resident since 1991

G

ordon Reese has spent over 35 years in construction and has built his business, Gordon Reese Design Build, on creating not just innovative indoor and outdoor spaces, but also long-lasting client relationships. He started in the remodeling business as a high school student, taking a summer job as a laborer. That grew into an interest in the field and working his way up in various remodeling companies. He began his own company in 1984. “What I truly enjoy about this occupation is the unlimited variety of work. Every job is different, and transforming spaces from one use to another is deeply satisfying. Even after all these years, I still love building things with my hands,” says Gordon. “We take pride in the skill, attitude, and workmanship of our team, and always do what’s right, regardless of who’s there to witness it,” adds Gordon. “Our work is a creative collaboration; we do our best to understand the needs of our clients then provide a remodeling experience that creates their dream spaces.” Gordon’s wife, Michelle, became co-owner of Gordon Reese Design Build in 2012. Today she acts as CFO and Human Resources Professional. They have put a lot of care into their employees, with state-of-the-art benefits, vacation time and a great work environment. This care spills over into the relationships with clients; they hold annual appreciation events. Once a project is finished Gordon checks back after 6 months and again in one year to make sure his clients are still happy with the new space. Gordon and Michelle, have lived in the Northgate neighborhood for 12 years. They have three grown daughters and two grandchildren, with a 3rd on the way. They now share their home with two dogs and a cat. Gordon has coached high school mountain biking teams for 4 years, and they both support local nonprofits like ARF, Save Mount Diablo, and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. After long days of working hard, they reward themselves with biking, hiking and good quality food from our local farmers’ market.

“Despite everything going on in the world, now is actually a great moment to design your dream space because we’re all spending so much more time at home,” says Gordon. “Most construction companies are only concerned with landing the project, but we’re committed to creating timeless results and inspired living spaces.” All of this dedication shows too in the awards they have won from the remodeling industry: Remodeling Magazine’s 2017 Big 50 and CotY 2016 National Recognition for Universal Design (helping people age in place with appropriate modifications). Check out their free monthly virtual seminars on the remodeling process at www.gordonreese.com.

Sugar Cravings Driving You Crazy? Reaching for the “Must Have” Glass of Wine Nightly? By Dr. Brandy Zachary, DC, AFMCP with Body Love Cafe

“M

y tummy hurts, I have brain fog, I’m always tired, I’m getting dandruff, my partner says I’m grumpy, my skin is getting weird rashes and I’m craving sugar like there’s no tomorrow!!!!” Sound familiar????

Candida may be the culprit!

Yeast and mold are part of the fungal family (fungi) - although there are hundreds of different kinds of yeast, Candida is the most common so you will also hear this condition referred to as a CANDIDA OVERGROWTH.

Sweets, foods that turn to sugar and WINE are often the tipping point that takes an environment primed for a yeast overgrowth to explode into a systemic Candida infection. The test we have found the MOST SENSITIVE to detect Candida is the OATs (Organic Acids Test) - ask for more information as this urine test is very easy to administer at home and mail to the lab it’s even great for children and babies! Resolving Candida is not an easy process but the TRANSFORMATION is absolutely amazing with a restoration of vitality, energy, focus, and patients have said they “finally feel like themselves again.” You’d be SHOCKED to discover how much impact this gut infection has not only on your digestive and hormone function but also your mood and PERSONALITY! A very small amount of Candida normally lives in your mouth and intestines for the purpose of aiding digestion and nutrient absorption. It is when there is an overproduction that Candida will start to break down the wall of the intestines and penetrate through to the bloodstream. When this occurs there are toxic byproducts released into the body which is one of the ways “Leaky Gut” (aka Intestinal Hyperpermeability) is caused. The resulting health issues can range from

food sensitivities to digestive issues to low mood, anxious feelings and potential autoimmune conditions.

How do you get Candida?

Your beneficial bacteria (the healthy or ‘good’ bacteria in your gut) typically keep your Candida levels in check. So the problem typically starts with things that KILL off your good bacteria such as: Antibiotics (even a single round can contribute to this), refined carbohydrates and sugar in your diet, oral contraceptives (Birth Control pills), excessive alcohol intake and even high stress or “go-go-go” lifestyle, or excessive fermented foods! Once the above occurs, Candida is an “opportunistic yeast” and will take advantage of your lowered defenses and can populate (and repopulate) rapidly.

10 Common Candida Symptoms

1. Skin/nail fungal infections (athlete’s foot, ringworm, and toenail fungus) 2. Feeling tired and worn down or suffering from chronic fatigue or fibromyalgia 3. Digestive issues: constipation, or diarrhea

bloating,

4. Autoimmune diseases such as Hashimoto’s thyroiditis, Rheumatoid arthritis, Ulcerative colitis, Lupus, Psoriasis, or Multiple sclerosis 5. Difficulty concentrating, poor memory, lack of focus, ADD, ADHD, or brain fog 6. Skin issues such as eczema, psoriasis, dandruff, hives, and rashes 7. Irritability, moody, anxiety/depression 8. Vaginal infections, urinary tract infections, rectal itching, vaginal itching 9. Severe seasonal allergies or itchy ears 10. Strong sugar, refined carbohydrate cravings Curious to learn more? Walnut Creek Downtown Our Jewel of the East Bay

By Kerry Inserra, Assoicate Director Walnut Creek Downtown Business Assoc.

W

alnut Creek is often referred to as “The Jewel of the East Bay” with its sweeping mountain vistas, extraordinary weather, and exceptional shopping, food and entertainment. Some of the City’s shining gems include the downtown’s bustling dining scene, independent shops, the 16.5-acre Civic Park, easy access to the many health and fitness clubs that have sprouted up over that past several years, and the outdoor shopping center, Broadway Plaza, featuring 77 retail businesses. And a special entertainment ‘gem’ that shines brightly within downtown Walnut Creek is the 1,200 seat Lesher Center for the Arts. Look for more information about the Center’s Rudney Plaza which will be unveiled later this summer! This expansion will provide an outdoor stage for all to enjoy. Then there are the amazing little gems . . . There is no doubt, downtown Walnut Creek is geographically desirable by most standards. Easy access to BART makes the downtown accessible via the free trolley which chauffeurs you to and from BART. Over 120 restaurants scattered throughout the downtown offer menus from around the world. Make a reservation to dine al fresco at your favorite restaurant including over 20 temporary popups on downtown streets and private patios. The Sunday morning downtown Farmer’s Market is a big hit each week and is the perfect place to shop for fresh, local produce and artisanal treats. Walnut Creek is one of the few East Bay cities that has its own downtown business association. Walnut Creek Downtown (WCD) is a non-profit association made up of over 650 downtown business members. The organization’s mission is to work with its members, partners and community to promote and enhance downtown business vitality. The WCD staff of four accomplishes this goal through advocacy, beautification, events and marketing efforts. Businesses outside the downtown area may join as Associate Members for an annual fee of $500.

WCD fundraising effort was the creation of the Walnut Creek Together campaign. WCD launched a popular apparel fundraiser selling baseball caps, tanks and t-shirts. All proceeds benefit Covid-19 recovery for downtown businesses. To learn more about these two fundraising opportunities or to learn about other WCD programs visit www.walnutcreekdowntown.com. Walnut Creek – your Jewel of the East Bay is a city to be proud of. Embrace it! Shop and dine locally! Residents, visitors and your business community – together – continues to make your downtown shine.

WCD’s collaborative work with various community partners such as the City of Walnut Creek, the Chamber of Commerce and Visitor’s Bureau and Diablo Regional Arts Association create programming and events for residents and visitors to enjoy all that the downtown has to offer. WCD is long known for its beloved signature community events including Walnut Creek First Wednesday’s, Walnut Creek Uncorked, Oktoberfest, Holiday Stroll, and Walnut Creek on Ice. Due to Covid-19, 2020 events are on hold. WCD Executive Director Kathy Hemmenway says, “Sadly, many of our popular downtown events have been canceled for the year, but we plan to be back stronger than ever when it is safe to do so.” Because events are the largest revenue source for WCD, they decided to launch a Go Fund Me Charity so they can retain staff and continue offering events, and economic and marketing support to downtown businesses during this critical time. Cool Your Pets When the Temperatures Soar By Cole Kuiper, Animal Rescue Foundation

C

ars aren’t the only dangerous place for pets during the summer months. Any climate that is not temperature-controlled (including backyards and homes without airconditioning) can turn deadly. Be aware of your surroundings and how they will affect your pet. When going for a walk or letting kitty enjoy some supervised outdoor time, a good rule of thumb is to test the ground your pet will be walking or lying on with the back of your hand. If it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for your pet. If you like to exercise with your pet, dawn and dusk are generally the coolest parts of the day, and the least likely times for your pet to become overheated. Always carry a bowl and fresh, clean water with you so you and your pet can stay hydrated on-the-go.

If you need to leave your pet outdoors, they must have access to plenty of drinking water and be sure there’s a shady area or children’s wading pool with a few inches of water for them to retreat to. If your dog has a heavy coat, get them a closecropped summer haircut, leaving about an inch of hair to protect from sunburn. If you have a cat, brushing them frequently will thin out their coat and help regulate their temperature. Never leave your pet unattended near swimming pools or other bodies of water. Not only might they be a weak swimmer, but you also want to be vigilant they don’t drink chlorinated or unsafe water. And after swimming, remember to rinse them off to remove salt or chlorine from their coats. The Ideal Kitchen Design and How Your Kitchen Compares By Gordon Reese, Gordon Reese Design Build, Resident since 2008

W

hether you’re an aspiring gourmet chef who likes to spend hours in the kitchen, or a busy parent who prepares meals for your family every night, you want a kitchen that looks good and functions well. Do you often find that cooking takes longer than you’d like or crossing back and forth to get everything done? These are all signs that your kitchen design is not quite right.

The Most Important Features in Your Kitchen

Your kitchen has many components, such as appliances, cabinets, and countertops. However, the three most important features, at least when working in the kitchen, are the sink, the refrigerator, and the stove/oven. This is because you store perishable cooking ingredients in the fridge. Most people visit the sink to wash fruits and vegetables. Health-conscious cooks also visit the sink more often to wash their hands. And of course, all that cooking happens at the stove-top and in the oven.

The “Work Triangle”

The sink, refrigerator, and stove (or oven) are the three most important components people visit in the kitchen. These three points and the imaginary lines between them, make up what kitchen experts call the work triangle. The idea is that when these three elements are close (but not too close) to one other, the kitchen will be easy and efficient to use, cutting down on wasted steps. When designing, there are some rules to keep in mind. For instance, it’s helpful if each side of the triangle is somewhere between four and nine feet long. This should then amount to, at most, twentyseven feet total for all three sides. It is important to design the layout so that there

will not be any other household traffic patterns that cut through it.

Giving Your Kitchen a Personal Touch

Beyond the necessity of a properly designed “work triangle,” modern kitchens can have many other features to match your personal style. When you start designing or remodeling a kitchen, it’s helpful to begin with the “work triangle” and work outward. A design build firm can help you choose the best layout for your kitchen space. Community Safety

Emergency Preparedness Safety Skills

By Nancy Caponigro, Resident since 2016, Northgate Area CERT Team

E

mergencies can happen anywhere and at any time. Being prepared with “go” bags, shelter in place supplies and plans to communicate with friends and family are all important. In addition to all of the tips provided over the last few months, there are a few safety skills that are beneficial to help protect people and property.

It is important to note The U.S. Fire Administration states you should only use a fire extinguisher if you’ve been trained in its proper use and maintenance. Contact the Contra Costa Fire Protection District for information on training.

Learn First Aid and CPR

Natural Gas

Taking First Aid and CPR classes are useful in the event of an emergency when first responders may not be able to get to you. With the skills learned in these classes you may be able to stabilize someone prior to a medical professional arriving on the scene or while driving to the hospital. You can get more information about training and certification from your local American Red Cross chapter. Getting certified can protect you under Good Samaritan laws if you give first aid in accordance with your training.

Learn to Use a Fire Extinguisher

Have at least one up-to-date ABC-type fire extinguisher and let everyone in your household know where it’s kept and how to use it. Ideally, you should have one in your garage, kitchen and near any fireplaces. Fire extinguishers can be purchased at any local hardware store.

Know How to Shut Off Utilities Natural gas leaks and explosions cause a significant number of fires after disasters. It’s important that all household members know how to shut off natural gas. There are different gas shut-off procedures for different gas meter configurations, so it’s important to follow PG&E’s guidelines. PG&E can help you prepare for gas appliance and service shut-off to your home in the event of an emergency. Search online for PG&E instructions for turning off your gas. Make sure everyone in your household knows the proper shut-off procedure for your meter. Do not actually turn off the gas when practicing shutting it off. •

If you smell gas or hear a blowing or hissing noise, open a

window and get everyone out quickly. Turn off the gas using the outside main valve if you can and call PG&E from a neighbor’s home. Never use your cell phone, turn lights or off or light a flame as this could cause an explosion. •

•

Caution: If you turn off the gas for any reason, only a qualified professional can turn it back on. NEVER attempt to turn the gas back on yourself. PG&E offers a free turn on service. Simply give them a call. If you cannot turn the gas shutoff valve by the meter contact PG&E to replace the valve for free.

Water

Water quickly becomes a precious resource following many disasters. It is important that everyone in your household learn how to shut off the main water valve to the house.

house valve. (This is not the street valve in the cement box at the curb – the street valve is extremely difficult to turn and requires a special tool.)

Electricity

Electrical sparks can ignite natural gas if it is leaking. Teach all responsible household members how to shut off the electricity. •

Find the shut-off valve for the main water line that enters your house and tag it for easy identification. Make sure everyone in your household knows where it is.

Locate your electrical circuit box(es) which may be located inside and/or outside. For your safety, always shut off all the individual circuits before shutting off the main circuit.

•

Contact PG&E if you have any questions regarding shutting off your electricity.

•

Make sure you can shut the valve off completely. Your valve may be rusted open or it may not close all the way. If so, replace it.

For more information, please visit www.ready.gov/safetyskills.

•

Cracked lines may pollute the water supply to your house. It’s a good idea to shut off your water until authorities say it’s safe to drink.

Engagement Ring Myths Debunked By Steve Padis, Padis Jewelry and The Forevermark Boutique at Broadway Plaza

T

hinking About Proposing? Well, you survived the quarantine together – there’s no time like the present to propose, and we are here to help you navigate the often treacherous waters! Engagement rings are part of cultural tradition in many parts of the world - it’s truly a beautiful thing. People throughout the world celebrate a promise of devotion with fashioned pieces of the earth itself, to be worn and reflected on daily. However, traditions often carry with them some “stowaway” notions, “myths” if you will, added and acquired over the years out of habit or desire for socio-economic parity. Your family at Padis Jewelry is here to give these myths the one-two punch and hopefully lend some peace and confidence to your engagement ring shopping experience.

reason. We care more about WHY you are here than how much you spend. We will help you work within ANY budget to find the perfect ring to start your forever together.

MYTH #1 The Proposal and Ring Should Be a Surprise

MYTH #4 A Traditional Round Diamond is Best

Negative. Relationships are individual things and therefore so are proposals. Assuming you know your intended well enough, you should know if they A. like surprises and B. would like to have a say in the type of ring they’ll be wearing on their finger for the rest of their life. If the answer to BOTH is yes, then consider surprise proposal without a ring (or using a ring stand-in) or starting with a pre-scheduled time for both of you to meet with your trusted family jeweler.

MYTH #2 The Bigger Diamond is the Better Diamond

Nope. Just plain nope. It’s important to remember that a diamond’s overall value is determined using ALL of the 4Cs, not just carat weight. Although size is an important factor in determining the value of a diamond, the cut, color, and clarity are all important: Cut - A diamond’s cut grade is determined by how well it’s facets interact with light as it enters and leaves the diamond. It is also the only factor of the diamond that is controlled by man. Color, clarity, and carat weight are all up to Mother Nature and the natural formation of the crystal. In layman’s terms, a better cut = more sparkle! Color - Mother Nature makes diamonds in many different colors. They range from colorless to progressively more yellow and eventually brown. There are also fancy colors such as pink, blue, green, and the rarest of all – red diamonds. Generally, diamonds with more visible color are less expensive, but can also be very appealing to the eye. Clarity - Diamonds are made from carbon that’s under tremendous heat and pressure deep in the earth. This process can result in clarity characteristics called inclusions. These inclusions can interrupt the reflection of light and some can even be seen with the naked eye, so it’s very important to view diamonds in person as grading reports aren’t detailed enough to show the nuance of each tiny inclusion.

MYTH #3 An Engagement Ring’s Price Should Equal Three Months’ Salary

While we probably all agree that a respectable display of seriousness and commitment should be involved with a proposal, buying a ring worth three months of your salary does not equal a happy marriage. Engagement ring settings and diamonds are available in all shapes, sizes, and price ranges, and it would be a mistake to presume that you must spend “x” amount of money for it to be the “correct” ring. Your team at Padis is not on commission for this

Brilliant round diamonds are certainly the shape most people think of when they think “engagement ring.” However, fancy diamond shapes in engagement rings are becoming more and more popular. You may find that an oval diamond is appealing because it elongates the finger. Or, you may be drawn to the elegant lines of emerald diamonds. You might love that marquise or pear-shaped diamonds appear to be larger, given that more of the stone shows from the top view (looking down on the diamond). As you shop for your diamond, don’t rule out the fancies! To take the debunking of this myth one step further, we’d like to point out that an engagement ring does not even have to be a diamond ring. Alternative gemstones such as sapphire, ruby, and emerald (or any stone you want) can easily take the place of a diamond in an engagement ring. Again, it’s a matter of individual style and preference.

MYTH #5 The Jeweler Knows Best

While jewelers can provide you with all kinds of important information regarding a diamond’s 4 C’s, price comparisons, or a setting’s craftsmanship and durability, there is no way a jeweler can know which ring really speaks to you or which ring will best fit your intended’s style. That’s why we take the time to get to know you, find out what you really want, and guide you to that dream ring at a comfortable pace. Before you learn about diamonds, we want to learn about you! Where did you meet? What do you love about them? What do you do for a living? What is your personal style and how do we choose based on that? Have you been discussing engagement rings or is this a surprise? If you’re not choosing the ring together, we’ll give you our best advice on how to research and find their favorite styles. Our jewelry consultants are here as a resource for you. The team at Padis Jewelry wants you to know that when you shop with us, you become part of our family! We deeply value your trust and will always provide you with the BEST product, with the BEST service, for the BEST value. Don’t believe the “myths” you might hear about engagement rings - come to Padis Jewelry or visit our Forevermark boutique in Broadway Plaza and you’ll hear the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth when it comes to your engagement ring options!
