the day
from Future Now 2022 Programme
by NSCD
by Mathieu Geffré
Memories and Dance are both fleeting. At the dawn of their next step towards the future, the day proposes a moment to sit and contemplate the past. In this choreographic journey orchestrated by Mathieu Geffré, 16 dancers revisit significant moments of their last three years to encapsulate those through dance. Sometimes individual, sometimes shared, sometimes joyful, sometimes devastating, each memory articulates itself with another in order to create a unique landscape of souvenirs.
