SPIRIT CARDS GIVE BACK

This year Independence Bank donated $4,598.50 to the Northern Alumni Foundation through their School Spirit Debit Card program. Independence Bank offers a Northern Alumni Foundation debit card to checking account holders. For each transaction the cardholder makes with their Northern debit card, Independence Bank donates 5¢ to the Northern Alumni Foundation.

The MSU-Northern Foundation is accepting nominations for the 2023 Founders’ Excellence Award. The Founders’ Excellence award is given to deserving individuals in honor of their professional accomplishments, loyalty and service that have enhanced the development of Montana State University-Northern. To nominate a deserving individual, please send your nomination letter to alumni@msun. edu. Candidates must be associated with MSU-Northern and meet one or more of the following criteria: they have offered significant ideas and actions to make change in the local community, The 2022 Founders’ Excellence Award winners: Clyde Thomas Jr. (left) and been a benefactor of Northern by Dr. Joseph Callahan (right) giving support and service, or a person who has enabled the growth of the college through legislation. Your nomination letter must speak to how the nominee fits the criteria and must list the individual’s achievements. Nominations are accepted at any time throughout the year but to be considered for the 2023 Founders’ Excellence Award, letters must be submitted by December 31st, 2022.
