GPS Updates
Due to Thanksgiving, we will be sending a shorter newsletter this week. We want to take a moment to express our deep gratitude for everything you do for our clients and the GPS program. Your dedication, hard work, and commitment are truly appreciated.
Looking ahead, we are planning to host regional holiday parties in January. More details will follow in the coming weeks.

10:00am-6:00pm- View parade of trees in Gloucester, have lunch out, see Santa arrive downtown, free time (for clients) at Airbnb, tree lighting downtown, dinner out 3:00pm-10:00pm- Free time (for clients) at Airbnb, tree lighting downtown, dinner out 10:00pm-7:00am- AWAKE overnight
The rate of pay for the ASLEEP overnight is $17.50 per hour. The rate of pay for all other shifts is $23.50 per hour.

Fixin’s for the Feast bags are filled with all the Thanksgiving fixin’s to help our neighbors in need. Each Thanksgiving, clients enjoy a pre-packed bag of all the fixin’s along with a grocery store gift card for additions to their feast! In 2024, we anticipate distributing 750 bags to our neighbors in need.

CITIZENS IN HAVEN FROM HUNGER
Citizens Inn Haven from Hunger (71 Wallis St. Peabody, 978-531-1530) will provide to-go meals and delivery on Thanksgiving Day. To-go’s will be available for pickup 11:30 am - 1 pm. No sign up required. Meals can be picked up on the 2nd floor (accessible lift available).

Every year, The Salvation Army provides a full Thanksgiving lunch to any member of the Greater Haverhill Community. Applicants are required to bring: Photo ID, proof of ALL household income, proof of expenses (rent/mortgage, utilities, etc.) proof of address in Haverhill, Bradford, or Groveland, proof of all household members via ID for adults and birth certificates for children.
