“Raised in Arlington, TX, the symphony of my life began surrounded by family,” he recalls, a fond glimmer in his eyes.

“Being the 5th of 6 children, I always felt the love and camaraderie of family. From NY to LA to Honduras, our geographies may have scattered, but our kinship remains consistent.”

Starting out in the tumultuous world of wholesale real estate, Adam learned the ropes and, more importantly, the stories behind every worn-out brick and fading paint.

But before the high-rises and open houses, music was the backdrop to Adam’s life. After acquiring a degree in music from Baylor University in 2013, Adam struck a surprising chord: teaching guitar to 400 middle school students.

“Despite never actually having touched a guitar in my life,” he laughs, “I quickly learned that the true lesson was beyond the strings - it was about connection and authenticity.”

Adam’s real estate narrative is not one of corporate templates. Instead, he cherishes the personal anecdotes each property brings. “I’m not your typical ‘sales guy’. My background as a teacher instilled the belief that every individual needs their own tailored narrative, their own song,” he notes, reflecting on his unique approach. “I never ‘sell’; I guide. Every decision rests with the client, and I’m just here to offer a guiding tune.”

With a dash of whimsy, Adam recalls, “After seeing Chip and Joanna Gaines work their magic in my college town, I felt an undeniable pull towards real estate. The allure of breathing

The son of a pediatric intensive care professional and a formidable community leader, Adam grew up amidst stories of resilience and purpose. “My parents and siblings – we’re all driven individuals,” he shares. “While our paths may diverge, the underpinning narrative of ambition and care remains.”

But what truly underpins Adam’s story is a quest for authenticity.

“In a world often devoid of genuine intentions, I want to stand as a beacon of true integrity,” he confesses.

“I want to be remembered not as the guy who sold houses but as the man with a pure heart.”

As DFW evolves, Adam is hopeful for the future. With award recognitions like a Top Producer for D-Magazine in 2023 and consistent top performances, he’s cementing his place in the narrative of Dallas real estate. Yet, he retains his ethos: “Success to me isn’t about possessions. It’s about balancing work with passions, about creating memories with loved ones, and about rooting oneself in the community.”

For up-and-coming Real Producers, Adam’s advice echoes his life’s philosophy, “In the ebb and flow of this industry, remember to be patient and consistent. Even when doubts cloud the horizon, continue to chart your path with authenticity. Just keep swimming.”

And for those curious about the man behind the sales, Adam has a quirky tidbit. “I’ve traveled to 47 states!

Brian Wharton’s emphatic declaration serves as a testament to his commitment to quality and detail. As the owner and operator of The BrickKicker Dallas, Brian is devoted to raising the standards of property inspection services, one brick at a time.

Brian’s journey to recently being voted “Best in DFW” for inspection services for the second year in a row is not your typical one. Having lived in Dallas since he was 5, Brian is a

graduate of SMU with an MBA from Baylor. He met his wife, Mary, at SMU and has been lovingly married for over 24 years. Brian’s story of how he entered the inspection industry is a winding one, peppered with fortuitous decisions and serendipitous nudges from friends, but the end result left him with a set of skills unique to the inspection world (if you want to hear the story ask him to lunch and he’ll tell you all about it - his treat!).

Brian enthusiastically recounts, “We enjoy family meals, quick random family vacations (thanks, Southwest Airlines!) to places like Cleveland (Yes, Cleveland!), Baltimore/DC area, and Boston to name a few.” An ardent cook, he indulges in whipping up sumptuous meals for 20-25 people during the holidays.

One of his favorite things about the home inspection business is working with first-time home buyers and their agents. “They are eager to see my findings. Janelle Rawlston and Judy Parsons, Broker Associates and co-Team Leads of The Indigo Skye Group at Compass, bring a unique touch of heartfelt care and an infectious enthusiasm that sets them apart. With nearly 35 years of collective experience, Janelle and Judy are more than real estate agents – they’re partners who invest a piece of themselves in every relationship they build.

Originating from different corners of the United States, their paths converged in Dallas, where their journey in real estate took off. Judy received a B.S. in business from the University of Arkansas, an MBA from SMU, and she began her career in Dallas as an executive in financial services. Janelle, holding a B.A. in business marketing and an MBA from Texas Tech University, moved from West Texas and began her career in software design and IT consulting.

The real estate bug bit them in 2006 when they ventured into property flipping. As Janelle recollects, “We flipped 4 homes in the next 2-3 years, taking several down to the studs, moving walls, and completely transforming them inside and out. What we learned, we get to share with our clients, helping them see possibilities for what a property could be with a little imagination and TLC – plus, we know what it takes to get it done,” adds Judy. Judy shares, “Janelle’s grandmother always taught her that when she stayed with a friend or family to always leave the house better than you found it – do something special for them or leave an extra gift for them to find once you’re no longer staying there.”

“What’s the difference between a burglar and an appraiser?” he asks with a glint in his eye. “An appraiser tells you exactly when he’s arriving to empty your house of its value!” He chuckles, and it’s clear why: for David, humor unlocks doors. This philosophy has anchored his 18-year journey in real estate, building relationships and bridging connections, always with laughter leading the way.

After attending the University of North Texas, David’s initial foray into the professional world was not as a REALTOR®, but as a dog trainer.

“Training dogs taught me patience and understanding, tools vital in real estate,” he reminisces. But more than this toolkit, David’s drive comes from a profound love for helping people.

Switching careers in his 30s was no small feat. “Beginning anew in real estate was challenging. I had to adapt, to learn, and above all, to connect.” And connect he did. It was during this time that Krissy’s Divine Design Podcast was born. The podcast, inspired by her own spiritual journey, is an eye-opening platform that encourages listeners to question everything, challenge conditioned thinking, and find their true authentic selves. “This podcast is to help people open their eyes, to show the truth about my testimony and journey,” Krissy shares passionately.
