EVERYONE YOU ADMIRE IS STILL FIGURING IT OUT

doing this at a high level for 15 years and still battle insecurity, comparison, pressure, or imposter syndrome from time to time.

The longer I’m around high performers, the more I realize confidence and certainty are not the same thing. And honestly, I think that’s important to remember in an industry like real estate where there can be a lot of pressure to always look like you have it all together.

But the truth is, we all succeed in some areas and struggle in others. None of us have every part of life perfectly dialed in. And that’s okay. In fact, I think growth happens a lot faster when we stop pretending otherwise. When we can be honest, humble, authentic, ask questions, learn from each other, and admit we’re still growing too.

One of my favorite things about Producers is seeing what happens when people let their guard down a little. Some of the best conversations at our events have nothing to do with production numbers. They’re about family, burnout, leadership, lessons learned, mistakes made, and the realities behind building a business and a life.

That’s where real connection happens.

So yes, be proud of what you’ve accomplished. You should be. What many of you have built is incredibly impressive.

One of the most surprising things about being around top producers year after year is realizing how many of them still feel like they’re figuring things out.

Seriously.

You sit down with someone doing $15 million, $30 million, or a team leader doing $100 million a year in production and think, “Okay, this person has to have it all dialed in by now.” But the truth is,

a lot of them are still asking themselves the same questions everyone else is.

Can I sustain this? Am I building this the right way? Am I falling behind? Should I be using more AI? Hiring differently? Structuring my team better? Working less? Working more?

Some are coming off the best year of their career and quietly wondering if they can replicate it. Others have been

Real Producers FAQ FAQ

Real Producers Magazine is a national franchise that started in Indianapolis in 2015 and is now in over 130 markets across the nation and continues to spread rapidly. DFW has four Real Producers Communities: North Dallas, Dallas, North Fort Worth, and Fort Worth Real Producers.

Q: What is the goal of Real Producers?

A: We believe that we are better together. When we surround ourselves with other successful, like-minded people, we grow to new heights. Real Producers is a platform that brings together the most elite individuals in DFW real estate. We take the highest producing real estate agents, and RP-vetted businesses in every market, and build an exclusive community around that group. We share their stories, successes, upcoming events, and educate – really anything that will connect, inform and inspire, we put in our monthly publication.

At Real Producers, we believe we are one person, one conversation, or one idea away from everything in our business and life changing. With this powerhouse community, it happens all the time.

Q: How do you become a Real Producers Top Agent?

A: In all of DFW, there are roughly 60,000 licensed agents, meaning there are ~15,000 agents in each of

our four communities. We rank all those agents based off their yearly MLS sales volume. In years past, we congratulated the Top 500 Agents, and we still are, but in 2026, we are adding a other groups to our community… all in the RP Top 1000! These agents are in the top 6%.

Q: Who receives Real Producers Magazine?

A: The Top 1000 agents in each community will receive the digital magazine for the year. The Top 500 agents will also receive the magazine physically to their mailbox. Our RP Vetted Businesses also receive the magazine physically and digitally.

Q: Can I be featured?

A: If you are in the Top 1000, you have the opportunity to be featured! We love nominations and take them seriously. If you’d like to be considered for a feature, or if you would like to nominate someone, you can email team@dfwrealproducers.com.

Q: What does it cost to be featured as an RP Top Agent?

A: Zero, zilch, zippo, nada, nil. How, you ask? Because

of the businesses that your peers have recommended, who partner with Real Producers, and invest in this community to support you. These companies have all been recommended by top agents and have been vetted by us to ensure they are of the highest quality. So instead of you paying $5k - $10k for this feature…they cover all those costs for you! Pretty incredible, right?

Q: Does Real Producers host events?

A: Yes, we host many different events throughout the year! Some large 400-800 people, some 75-250 people, and other more intimate events that are 30-50 people. We do Social Events, Magazine Celebration Events, an Awards Gala, and Masterclass Events. You can see quick recaps of some of our events under the “Events” tab on our website.

For our events, we invite the top 1000 real estate agents and our RP-vetted businesses. The Top 1000 agents are allowed to invite agents on their team, as well. These events are an incredible opportunity to connect with the best in DFW

connection made at these events. Be on the lookout for your exclusive invites!

Q: Who are the RP Vetted Businesses?

A: They are some of the best businesses in DFW in their category! You can find them listed in our index and their ad in the magazine. We don’t just find these businesses off the street, nor do we work with all businesses that approach us. Each business has come recommended by your peers, the top producing real estate agents in the market. Our team will further vet every business to make sure they are a good fit and bring value to our community. Our goal is to create a powerhouse network, not only for the best real estate agents in the area but the best businesses, as well, so we can grow stronger together.

Q: Can I nominate an agent or recommend a business?

A: Absolutely! Email your nominations and recommendations to team@ dfwrealproducers.com.

There’s a moment in every real estate transaction when things get real. The paperwork is no longer theoretical, the stakes are no longer abstract, and someone’s future, whether it be their home, investment, or both, hangs in the balance. For Josh Winkler, that moment isn’t something to rush through. It’s the point where his purpose becomes clearest.

“I’m just here doing the very best that I can with the vocation that I feel like I’m supposed to be working,” he says. “My goal in each transaction is not to get it closed; it’s to make sure my client is satisfied.”

That mindset didn’t appear overnight. It was built over years of discipline, unexpected turns, and a life that began far from the polished world of North Dallas real estate.

Josh grew up as the second of nine children, raised by a truck-driving father and a mother who balanced home life with part-time administrative work. In a house full of personalities, creativity, and noise, he found his identity early on, not as the artist like his older brother, but as the entrepreneur who saw opportunity in everything.

“I knew from a young age that I wanted to find cool things, make them better, and show them to the world,” he recalls.

That instinct–to improve, to optimize, to build–would eventually define his career. But first, it led him somewhere very different.

After his junior year of high school, Josh joined the Army, following in the footsteps of multiple generations before him. Then came 9/11 during his senior year, a moment that shifted the course of his life. During the next decade, he spent a total of nearly four years in the Middle East, both in uniform and as a defense contractor.

While the experience brought intensity and perspective, it also clarified something deeper. “This life was exciting,” he says, “but it wasn’t really where I saw myself long term.” What he kept coming back to was a simple truth: He was wired to fix things, to improve systems, and to create better outcomes for others.

Real estate entered his life almost by accident.

In 2007, Josh purchased his first home in Tampa, Florida, right before the market downturn. When he later needed to move, selling wasn’t an option, so he rented the property instead. What could have been a frustrating situation became a turning point.

“I saw the monthly deposits in my bank account…and was (barely) making money on this thing that I owned,” he says. “I’d never owned anything that made money. Everything else I owned cost me money. I was hooked from then on.”

That shift, from seeing real estate as “just a home” to recognizing it as an asset, sparked something bigger. He began investing intentionally, purchasing additional properties, and eventually buying and selling 24 investment properties over the course of the next ten years.

By the time he became a licensed agent, he wasn’t just learning the business; he was living it. “My first 200+ transactions… were investment properties because that was the knowledge base that I had coming into real estate.”

Today, as Team Lead of the Josh Winkler Real Estate Group at Compass, Josh brings that same investor mindset into every transaction. It’s what allows him to see beyond the surface, beyond staging and curb appeal, and evaluate what truly matters.

“Very few agents…can walk through a home, know what repairs or updates will net the sellers the most money, and be able to back it up with actual

numbers on the spot,” he explains. “This comes from my investment real estate background.”

But what truly sets Josh apart isn’t just his analytical edge; it’s his approach to people.

He doesn’t shy away from the hard parts of the job. In fact, he leans into them.

“There are several transactions… where I’ve busted my butt, lost sleep,” he admits. “Each one had a consistent element, an ‘I’ve never had THIS happen before!’”

Those moments, filled with uncertainty and pressure, are where character is revealed. And for Josh, that means ownership.

“A few times, the issue was my fault…it hurts way worse then,” he says candidly. “But when you’re committed to doing the best you can, and being completely honest, fixing messes becomes easier and easier.”

That honesty has become one of his most powerful tools. “Even when the reason we’re in a pickle is my fault… because I’ve been honest from ‘Hi,’ I can say, ‘and I’m going to fix it.’ That goes a long way.”

Over the past decade, Josh’s results have followed his work ethic. Since his second year in the business, he has consistently ranked in the top 2% of agents, surpassing $100 million in individual career volume. Yet, for him, success isn’t measured in numbers.

“I define success as simply achieving what you set out to achieve,” he says.

“What I don’t define success as is monetary. There are plenty of wealthy, unsuccessful people out there, and I never want to be among them.”

That perspective shapes how he runs his business, leads his team, and serves his clients. It also informs the boundaries he’s learned to set along the way.

One of the most pivotal moments in his career came not from a win, but from a decision to walk away. After working with a demanding out-of-state investor whose constant requests began to disrupt his personal life, Josh made a choice that changed everything.

“I said ‘no’ for the first time…to any client,” he says. “‘No’ can be a powerful word.”

It was a turning point, one that allowed him to protect his time, prioritize his family, and build a business aligned with his values.

Those values are rooted in something deeper than real estate.

“I do what I do…so that my family has a safe and secure home, my wife can stay at home raising our awesome children, and we can enjoy our time together,” he shares.

And when it comes to the bigger picture, his goals remain refreshingly simple. “Serve my clients well, handle every transaction as if it were my own…go to bed knowing that I did a job well done that day.”

In an industry often driven by accolades and ambition, Josh’s focus stands out.

“Real estate is full of people who want to be millionaires and want to get the priciest listings,” he says. “I just want to do well by those whom God puts in my path.”

Perhaps the most telling glimpse into his journey came in an unexpected place–a McDonald’s, where a chance conversation while sending a contract led to a decade-long mentorship and nearly two dozen transactions.

“You just never know who you’ll run into,” he says.

It’s a reminder that in real estate, as in life, the smallest moments can shape the biggest outcomes.

And for Josh Winkler, every moment, every client, every challenge, and every opportunity is approached the same way: with intention, integrity, and a commitment to leave people better than he found them.

Because in the end, it’s not about closing the deal.

It’s about doing the job right.

60 Years of Excellence Built on Legacy Shaddock Homes

Quality doesn’t happen by accident. It’s built carefully, intentionally, and consistently over time. For Shaddock Homes, that commitment to quality has defined not just the homes they build, but the legacy they continue to shape across North Texas.

This year marks an extraordinary milestone for the company: 60 years of homebuilding excellence by founder

Peter H. Shaddock, Sr. What began as a vision to build better homes has grown into a respected family-owned business known for craftsmanship, integrity, and relationships that span generations.

From the beginning, Peter H. Shaddock Sr. wasn’t just building houses—he was creating places where families could grow, connect, and build their own memories. Over six decades, that vision has helped shape communities throughout the region and establish a reputation for quality that continues to stand the test of time.

“Reaching 60 years in this industry is a meaningful accomplishment, but what matters most is the trust we’ve built with families and communities along the way,” the company shares. “This milestone is a reflection of our

commitment to excellence and the strength of our family values.”

That sense of purpose is evident in every detail. Trends may change, but Shaddock Homes has remained grounded in its foundational principles: integrity, craftsmanship, and thoughtful design. These values have guided the company through decades of growth while maintaining a reputation for turning luxury new home dreams into reality.

Peter Shaddock, Sr. often describes the philosophy simply: “We build the kind

of homes that we want to live in. That happens by the way our team applies innovation, craftsmanship, and attention to detail into everything we do.”

It’s a mindset that continues to resonate with homeowners today. “The part that we love the most about what we do is having the opportunity each day to help move people’s dreams into reality,” he adds.

That passion extends beyond leadership and is felt throughout the entire organization.

Marketing Director Danna Wolf says the company’s family-owned roots are a defining part of the experience for homeowners.

“People who work with Shaddock Homes to create their homes know that the company is family-owned and operated,” Danna explains. “They know the family works at the company, and they know they can get on the phone if they need to. All of the Shaddocks get out and walk the properties and visit with buyers. Everyone is available. We want to be there with them.”

That hands-on involvement is part of what sets Shaddock Homes apart. While the company has grown significantly over the years, the personal touch remains at the heart of everything they do.

Through decades of building, Shaddock Homes has also stayed on the cutting edge of innovation and design. The company is known for blending timeless architecture with modern features that meet the evolving needs of homeowners.

“We pride ourselves on the product,” Danna says. “If you go to a Shaddock development, you can see which homes are the ones we built.”

That pride extends even to the smallest details. “We brand what we do so you know which ones are Shaddock homes. We started including a logo with each address about 15 years ago. It appears as a watermark on the address of the home.”

Today, the legacy that began with Peter H. Shaddock, Sr. continues through the next generation of family leadership. Peter Shaddock Jr., Todd Shaddock, and Beth Shaddock each play a vital role in guiding the company forward, blending timehonored principles with fresh ideas and innovation.

Together, they continue to expand the company’s reach across North Texas, building thoughtfully designed homes that reflect the same attention to detail and commitment to quality that have defined Shaddock Homes for 60 years.

From Dallas-Fort Worth east to Rockwall and west to the Fort Worth area, Shaddock Homes has helped shape communities throughout the region. Their footprint continues to grow, supported by a team of

DFW Is Still America’s Most Important Housing Market—Here’s Why

SUBMITTED BY BILL HEAD, COMMUNICATIONS AND MEDIA RELATIONS PROFESSIONAL. METROTEX

For the past few years, the narrative around housing has been dominated by extremes, booming prices, bidding wars, and now, headlines warning of a slowdown. But beneath those swings, one truth remains clear: Dallas-Fort Worth continues to be one of the most important housing markets in the United States.

Not because it’s immune to change, but because of how it adapts to it.

Growth That Doesn’t Stop North Texas remains one of the fastest-growing regions in the country. New residents continue to arrive from across the U.S., drawn by job opportunities, a diverse economy, and a relatively attainable

cost of living compared to coastal markets.

That population growth isn’t speculative; it translates directly into sustained housing demand. Even as higher interest rates have slowed transaction volume, they haven’t changed the underlying need for housing across the region.

In other words: demand hasn’t disappeared. It’s simply become more selective.

Jobs Drive Housing, And DFW Delivers

Unlike markets that rely heavily on a single industry, DFW benefits from a broad economic base, technology, finance, healthcare, logistics, and corporate headquarters relocations all play a role.

That diversity matters. It creates resilience.

While some markets are more vulnerable to economic shifts, North Texas continues to generate the kind of job growth that supports long-term housing stability. People don’t just move here, they stay, work, and buy homes here.

A Market That Can Actually Build

One of DFW’s biggest advantages, and one that often goes overlooked, is its ability to add supply.

While many major metros face severe constraints on new construction, North Texas continues to expand. New communities, suburban growth, and

ongoing development have helped prevent the kind of extreme inventory shortages seen elsewhere.

That doesn’t mean the market is perfectly balanced. But it does mean DFW has something rare: the capacity to respond to demand instead of being overwhelmed by it.

A Healthier, More Balanced Market

Yes, the market has shifted.

Homes are taking longer to sell. Buyers have more options. Negotiations, once nearly nonexistent, are back. In some cases, prices have flattened or adjusted modestly.

But these are not signs of weakness. They are signs of normalization.

After years of unsustainable speed and competition, DFW is settling into something more durable: a market where both buyers and sellers can make informed, measured decisions.

That balance is not a setback, it’s progress.

Closing the Affordability Gap

Another critical challenge, and opportunity, for DFW is closing the gap in attainable housing. While the region has done better than most in adding supply, much of that growth has been concentrated in higher

price points. The next phase of the market will depend on how effectively North Texas can deliver “missing middle” housing, homes that are attainable for first-time buyers, workforce families, and those priced out of both entry-level and luxury segments. Solving that gap will be key to sustaining long-term growth.

Why It Matters Nationally

What happens in Dallas-Fort Worth doesn’t stay in DallasFort Worth.

As one of the largest and fastest-growing metro areas in the country, DFW often reflects broader national trends, just at a scale that makes them easier to see.

• When demand surges, DFW shows it

• When affordability tightens, DFW feels it

• When the market resets, DFW demonstrates what that reset looks like

In many ways, it serves as a blueprint for where other markets are headed.

The Bottom Line

The story of DFW real estate isn’t about boom or bust, it’s about durability.

This is a market driven by real fundamentals: population growth, job creation, and the ability to build. Those forces don’t disappear with a change in interest rates or a shift in buyer behavior. They evolve, and DFW evolves with them.

That’s what makes it not just relevant, but essential to understanding the future of housing in America.

Yaron

Yashar FROM THE GROUND UP

When Yaron Yashar moved to the United States from Israel in 2007, he wasn’t arriving with a built-in network, family connections, or a carefully mapped career in real estate. What he did bring with him, however, was something less visible but far more powerful: a strong work ethic, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a willingness to build something from the ground up.

Today, as Team Leader of Dallas Homes Realty Group with Fathom Realty, Yaron has built a thriving real estate business in the North Dallas area, closing approximately $18.5 million in sales volume in 2025 alone. But his story is about more than numbers. It’s about growth, progress and a philosophy rooted in becoming the kind of agent he once wished he had.

“One thing I would like people to know is that if you’re not local and don’t have a large network or sphere of influence, you can still succeed in real estate,” Yaron shares. “Second, that success comes from becoming the best version of the agent you would have wanted for yourself.”

That philosophy was shaped through experience, challenge, and a steady commitment to improvement.

A New Beginning Growing up in Israel, Yaron was surrounded by a culture that valued initiative and hard work. Those early influences shaped his

approach to business and life long before he stepped into real estate.

“I was always surrounded by a strong work ethic and a mindset of taking initiative, which naturally led me into business and investing,” he explains.

Before real estate, Yaron and his wife owned and operated a successful retail business. They built it together, growing it year after year while learning valuable lessons in customer service, negotiations, and business operations. Those experiences would later become the backbone of his real estate career.

“That experience gave me a strong foundation in business, negotiations, and customer service, which I bring into my real estate career every day,” he says.

But it wasn’t until purchasing his first home that Yaron discovered the path he would ultimately pursue.

“I worked with a buyer’s agent during that process, and it opened my eyes to the impact an agent can have on the experience,” he recalls. “That’s what led me into the industry. I saw an opportunity to provide a higher level of service, guidance, and strategy for clients.”

He earned his real estate license in 2016, ready to build something meaningful. What he didn’t anticipate was just how difficult the beginning would be.

Starting Without a Safety Net Yaron’s first year in real estate tested his resolve. Without a local sphere

of influence, referrals, or established connections, he faced a challenge many agents never experience.

“I remember my first year being very challenging,” he says. “I only closed three transactions, and there was definitely a lot of uncertainty in the beginning.”

Starting from scratch meant creating opportunities where none existed. There were no shortcuts, only consistency, discipline, and learning.

“On top of that, I had almost zero sphere around me since I wasn’t local, so I wasn’t getting any referrals. Everything I did had to be built from the ground up.”

Rather than stepping back, Yaron leaned in. He sought mentorship, invested in education, and committed to personal growth.

“I worked with a mentor who guided me through the process, and I invested in myself by taking courses like BOLD with Keller Williams and other trainings to accelerate my growth,” he explains. “Looking back, that period was tough, but it built the foundation for everything I do today.”

That foundation would soon become the catalyst for longterm success.

Redefining Success

Over time, Yaron’s business grew, but his definition of success evolved alongside it. What once centered around production shifted toward relationships, trust, and balance.

“To me, success in real estate means knowing that the clients who trust you with

one of the biggest decisions of their lives are fully satisfied with your service,” he says. “When you do the right job, they not only come back, but they also refer you to others.”

Now, as a husband and father of three young children, success carries even deeper meaning.

“At this stage in my life, being 40 years old and a husband and father of three young kids, success is also about balance. It’s about running a strong, productive business while still being present for my family.”

That balance fuels his motivation and shapes the way he approaches each day.

“What motivates me today is constantly setting new goals for myself, both personally and professionally,” he

shares. “I’m driven by growth and progress.”

Going All In

One of the most defining moments in Yaron’s career came when he and his wife made a bold decision — to sell their retail business and fully commit to real estate.

“It wasn’t just a business move, it was a family decision,” he says. “Convincing my wife to get her real estate license and join me was a big step, and it changed everything for us.”

That decision led to the formation of Dallas Homes Realty Group and a new chapter focused on leadership, growth, and building something bigger.

“It allowed us to build something together, grow the business, and

Photo submitted by Yaron Yashar
Stay focused on your clients’ needs above everything else. If you take care of your clients the right way, the business will follow.”

create the life we were aiming for,” he reflects.

Joining Fathom Realty and launching his team further expanded his vision.

“That step pushed me into a different level of responsibility and growth. It wasn’t just about closing deals anymore; it was about building something bigger.” What started as a husband and wife team has now evolved into four, full-time agents, as Yaron and his wife have added new agents Johanna and Teria to the team.

A Hands-On Approach

What sets Yaron apart is his business-first mindset and commitment to being fully present for his clients.

“I’m very hands-on throughout the process, and my focus is always on protecting my clients’ interests and delivering results,” he explains.

His approach has earned him consistent Top Producer recognition, but he’s quick to emphasize that accolades aren’t what drive him.

“More importantly, I take pride in the consistency behind that recognition,” he says.

That consistency continues to guide his goals for the future, including expanding his team and strengthening its culture.

“One of my main goals this year is to continue growing and strengthening our team,” he says. “Beyond that, the focus is on building the right team culture, supporting their growth,

and continuing to scale the business the right way.”

Beyond Real Estate

Outside of work, Yaron enjoys traveling, photography, art, and music. He also finds balance through mountain biking, a hobby that helps him recharge and gain perspective.

“It’s something I really enjoy and a great way to disconnect and recharge,” he says. Still, at the core of everything he does is a simple but powerful principle: trust.

“I want to be remembered as someone who is easy to work with, calm under pressure, and genuinely cares about the people I work with,” Yaron shares. “More importantly, I want to be known as someone who is trustworthy and always puts his clients’ best interests first.”

That mindset continues to shape his journey, one relationship at a time.

And for those just starting their own path in real estate, Yaron offers advice grounded in his own experience.

“Stay focused on your clients’ needs above everything else,” he says. “If you take care of your clients the right way, the business will follow.”

For Yaron Yashar, success wasn’t handed to him. It was built, step by step, from the ground up. And through dedication, growth, and a commitment to becoming the best version of the agent he once needed, he continues to prove that where you start doesn’t define where you can go.

DANNY KNIGHT OF FIRST RATE FINANCIAL

A Different Breed

There’s a rhythm to Danny Knight’s story, and fittingly, it starts with music. Long before he became a trusted name in mortgage lending, Danny spent his early years behind a drum kit, chasing a dream that took him into bands and onto stages during the early 2000s. “I’ve played drums and been in bands for most of my early years,” he recalls. “After high school, I spent a few years as a drummer in a band that had a little ‘success’ in the 2000s. Once that fizzled out, it was time to grow up.”

That transition led Danny into insurance, where he learned the fundamentals of relationships and service. But even then, he sensed there was something more waiting for him. “I learned a lot,” he says, reflecting on those early professional years. “But I realized I needed a little more.”

That “something more” came in 2018 when longtime friend Chad Lemons, owner of First Rate Financial, offered him an opportunity that would change the trajectory of his career. “Chad gave me the opportunity to join the team and has been an incredible mentor in this business ever since,” Danny says. “I owe a lot to both Chad and my friend Matt Cox for where I am today professionally.”

Eight years later, Danny Knight has become a respected wholesale mortgage broker with First Rate Financial, known for his hands-on approach, deep knowledge, and commitment to his clients. But ask him what truly sets him apart, and his answer is immediate.

“No one can do what I can do through First Rate Financial,” Danny says. “We are just a different breed and set up differently than the other guys.”

That difference begins with independence. As an independent wholesale mortgage brokerage, First Rate Financial isn’t tied to one lender or limited to a narrow selection of loan products. Instead, Danny shops a network of lenders, allowing them to compete for his clients’ business. The result? More options, better rates, and solutions tailored to each unique financial situation.

“Unlike large retail lenders, who can only offer their own products, we have relationships with a large network of lenders that specialize exclusively in mortgage lending,” Danny explains.

“That allows us to shop each loan, find the lowest rates, and uncover niche lending products for clients with unique financial situations.”

But for Danny, numbers are only part of the equation. Education plays a central role in every client experience.

“I tell every client, just like I would tell my own mother, that some of the process may feel a bit boring or nerdy, but all of it is important,” he says. “This is their investment to repay, not mine. My job is to make sure they feel confident and know exactly what they’re doing.”

Danny’s process is intentionally thorough, walking clients through each step and ensuring they understand their options long before making an offer. By the end, he says, they know their numbers inside and out, “like they’ve earned a PhD in lending.”

This level of preparation not only benefits buyers, but also strengthens relationships with real estate agents. When clients are well-prepared, agents can focus on the right homes, avoid wasted time, and move confidently toward closing.

Another way Danny separates himself from the competition? Fees. Or rather, the lack of them.

While Danny’s professional journey has been shaped by mentors and opportunities, he’s quick to point to something deeper as the foundation of his success.

“God and my family’s support is why I am where I’m at today professionally,” he shares.

We never charge our buyers anything extra to do business with us, including a fee for securing the lowest rate available.”

“Most lenders add extra fees, like an origination fee or discount points,” Danny explains. “We never charge our buyers anything extra to do business with us, including a fee for securing the lowest rate available.”

That commitment to transparency and value is part of what fuels Danny’s passion for the business.

“Seeing families achieve their dream of buying a home is everything to me at the end of the day,” he says. “I want to be your lender for life, so from the moment they take my first call all the way to the closing table, I focus on giving buyers peace of mind.”

That same philosophy extends to the agents he partners with. Danny understands that top producers need reliability, communication, and consistency, and he prides himself on delivering all three.

Family plays a central role in Danny’s life. He and his wife are raising their 10-year-old daughter while balancing busy careers. His wife works as both a flight attendant and a real estate agent. Despite the demanding schedules, Danny embraces the chaos that comes with family life.

“We love all the chaos that comes with raising a ten-year-old,” he says with a smile.

That perspective keeps him grounded, reminding him that every client he helps represents another family working toward stability, growth, and a place to call home.

A proud Texan who has lived in the DFW area his entire life, Danny brings both local insight and personal passion to his work. Whether he’s helping a first-time buyer or guiding a seasoned homeowner through refinancing, his approach remains consistent: hands-on, transparent, and client-focused.

At the heart of it all is a simple mission: to be different, to serve better, and to deliver results.

And if you ask Danny Knight, that’s exactly what makes First Rate Financial stand out.

“Top producers should have me in their network because I get results for every client, every time,” he says. “Agents know their clients are in the best hands, their time won’t be wasted, and their deals will close smoothly.”

“We’re just built differently,” he says. “It’s all about getting the best outcome for the client while making the process smooth from start to finish.”

EVOLUTION

Swati

When Swati Shah first stepped into real estate 15 years ago, the market was still recovering from the ripple effects of the subprime mortgage crisis. It was a time filled with uncertainty, and for many new agents, fear might have overshadowed ambition. But Swati approached that season differently. Instead of focusing on immediate success, she committed herself to learning, growing, and serving.

“After dropping my kids off at school, I would go straight to the office every day with one goal in mind,” she recalls. “I wasn’t focused on when I would get my first transaction. I was focused on learning everything I could and building a strong foundation.”

That mindset would become the cornerstone of a career defined by impact, growth, and leadership, one that has now spanned over a decade and includes leading the Swati Realty Team at Keller Williams Realty Frisco Stars.

But Swati’s journey toward real estate began long before she ever earned her license and far from DFW.

Born and raised in Valsad, Gujarat, India, Swati grew up as the youngest of six siblings in a close-knit family. Those early years shaped her perspective on relationships, resilience, and community.

“Being part of a large family instilled in me a deep respect for relationships, family, and community,” she says. “These values continue to guide me in both life and business today.”

Creativity also played a significant role in her upbringing. Swati developed a passion for art and completed her classical Bharatanatyam dance training, eventually performing her Arangetram. At the same time, she was surrounded by entrepreneurship, watching her parents navigate business and sales…experiences that would quietly influence her future.

After earning her undergraduate degree in science and completing her master’s, Swati moved to the United States to pursue new opportunities.

She studied graphic design and multimedia, blending her artistic instincts with technical skills, before beginning her corporate career.

She spent 15 years in corporate America, working at JCPenney headquarters in Plano before moving to Electronic Data Systems, where she built expertise in client relationships, sales and marketing.

“Those years in corporate America helped me build a strong foundation in communication, branding, and client service,” she says.

Alongside her professional career, Swati also nurtured her love for dance, founding a dance academy and teaching students for many years. Watching her students complete their Bharatanatyam training and perform their Arangetram became one of the most fulfilling chapters of her life.

Still, real estate eventually called.

Encouraged by friends in the industry, Swati was introduced to broker Barbara Trumbull, a meeting that would change everything.

“From our very first meeting, I felt an immediate connection and clarity that this was the path I wanted to pursue,” Swati says. “Her guidance and presence gave me the confidence to take that step forward.”

Her first transaction came in an unexpected way. While teaching dance to a young student, Swati learned that the child’s parents were searching for a space to open a pediatric practice. She immediately began researching and found a commercial shell building near her neighborhood.

“I still remember calling the listing agent, who happened to be sick with the flu and told me to go ahead and show the space myself,” she says. “Looking back, it truly felt like everything aligned perfectly.”

The deal closed successfully, and that moment confirmed she was exactly where she was meant to be.

“That first transaction wasn’t just a deal,” Swati says. “It was the moment I knew I was exactly where I was meant to be.”

Since then, Swati has built a career focused on helping clients achieve longterm success.

Known for her strategic marketing, strong negotiation skills, and a relationship-first approach, she has built a business centered on trust, long-term client relationships, and helping families build wealth through real estate.

“Early in my career, success was more about achieving milestones,” she says. “As I grew, my definition of success shifted. It became less about numbers and more about impact.”

Today, Swati defines success through relationships, trust, and the lives she’s able to influence.

“Helping families find their home, guiding clients in building wealth through real estate, and seeing their happiness and confidence grow, that is success to me,” she says.

Since then, Swati has built a career focused on helping clients achieve longterm success. For her, real estate has always been about more than buying and selling homes.

“I’m very passionate about helping my clients build financial wealth through real estate,” she explains. “I enjoy identifying opportunities, guiding them with the right strategy, and helping them make decisions that create longterm value.”

Over time, her definition of success evolved as well.

That same philosophy has guided her transition into leadership. As the owner and team leader of the Swati Realty Team, Swati has developed a passion for mentoring and empowering others.

“I often see so much untapped potential in people who may not fully believe in themselves yet,” she says. “I love encouraging them to step forward, build a career, and become financially independent.”

This focus on growth extends beyond her team to her personal journey as well. Swati’s parents instilled confidence in her

from a young age, lessons that continue to guide her leadership style today.

“I still hear my mom’s voice telling me, ‘There’s nothing you cannot do,’ and my dad reinforcing that with, ‘If there’s a will, you can achieve anything,’” she shares.

Those words helped her navigate the challenges of starting over in a new country and building a business from scratch, experiences that strengthened her resilience and determination.

Today, Swati’s achievements reflect both consistency and impact. She has been named among Plano’s Top 50 REALTORS®, featured in D Best multiple years, and received numerous Keller Williams awards, including Realtor of the Year. One of her most meaningful honors, however, was the Karen Wunderlick Memorial Award, recognizing leadership and contribution to her office.

While she’s proud of those accomplishments, Swati remains focused on what matters most: people.

“I want to be remembered as someone who made a genuine difference in people’s lives,” she says. “Whether it’s helping clients build wealth… or mentoring agents to believe in

themselves… my goal has always been to create lasting impact.”

Outside of real estate, Swati continues to embrace her creative passions. She enjoys painting, traveling, and spending time with family. Her artistic spirit, from designing fashion collections to teaching dance, continues to influence her work and leadership style.

Looking ahead, Swati’s goals center around intentional growth, expanding her team, and continuing to mentor agents while maintaining balance with family and travel.

For Swati Shah, success has never been just about numbers. It’s about impact. It’s about growth. And most importantly, it’s about the people whose lives are changed along the way.

North Dallas & Dallas Masterclass

Our first Masterclass of 2026 on April 15th was something special.

This one felt different from the start. Not your typical sit-and-listen event. The room was full of energy, laughter, real connection, and yes… even a little dancing. It was one of those events where you could feel people growing in real time.

Huge shoutout to Les McGehee and his “Plays Well With Realtors” interactive masterclass. The FOMO on this one was very real.

Attendees walked away with a simple but powerful shift: how to create more momentum and alignment in their conversations by using “Yes, and…” instead of unintentionally shutting people down. They left with practical tools to build stronger relationships, communicate more effectively, and ultimately get more yeses in their business.

This is exactly what happens when you get the right people in the room.
