THE ROAD TO SUCCESS ISN’T PAVED ONLY ONCE IN A WHILE.
The same holds true for the path to results in any industry.

Expert agent JB Hayes demonstrates that dynamic when it comes to the way she serves the needs of her real estate clients.
LINKING PEOPLE WITH THEIR DREAMS
As a Global Real Estate Advisor with Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty, JB shows up and makes an impact.
“I love connecting people … connecting them with their dreams … especially worked with senior executives, where the decisions made were very fact-based,” she says.

“I had to learn to take on the emotional aspect of the business … helping people through the ups and downs of a transaction, all while focusing like a chief of staff and thinking two steps ahead.”
It’s a dynamic that she relishes today.
“One of my favorite parts of what I do is reading between the lines when a client says, ‘This is what we’re looking for,’ then taking that information and finding ‘the one’ that I’m so excited to show them.”
Signs Of Success
JB has quickly made a big impact on those around her. In turn, she has earned many accolades, including an award for the Most Network Referral Units Closed in 2021 and 2022, which added up to more than $63 for Sotheby’s International Realty.
Family makes life much richer for JB. It has meant a lot to her to be able to help sell her parents’ home and to help her father transition to senior living when the time came for that last fall.
In her free time, JB enjoys explor ing with her four-legged friend, Maddie Ruth, a Great Pyrenees that she rescued during the COVID lockdowns.
She also loves being engaged in the community, including various roles as a 13-year member of the Cattle Baron’s Ball (supporting the American Cancer Society). She also served on the Cedars Tax Increment Fund and the Board of the Friends of Katy Trail. She has supported the Junior League of Dallas and has chaired several non-profit committees and events over the years.
JB carries sincere gratitude for those who have helped her learn and grow in real estate, including the late Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s International Realty agent Martha Miller.

“Martha was very important in my growth. I helped her with technology and marketing for listings, and she was my mentor for my first transactions,” JB says. “She passed away in January 2021. Martha was like my second mom, so it was a hard loss for me.”
As JB looks to the future in real estate, she acknowledges where she is and that she has the room to grow.
“I appreciate the fact that with real estate, this is a career that you can be active in for a good, long while,” JB says. “I also like the fact that success happens to those who hustle.”
