I became a GREAT grandpa! Scarlett was born to my granddaughter, Harley, in

April…and the family has been living with my wife and I. I have to admit, Scarlett has changed my life considerably! What have been the biggest challenges you have had to overcome?

The current market we are in is facing a myriad of challenges that impact both homebuyers and sellers. The limited listing supply, surging construction costs and high interest rates have created a landscape with constrained options for our clients. To overcome these hurdles, we’re dedicating extra time and effort to connect with potential buyers and sellers within our network. It’s a proactive approach, where discovering available properties becomes a rewarding pursuit amidst these challenges. Top performers are always learning and growing. Tell us a little about your growth over the past few years?

We constantly strive as a company and myself, as an individual, to always be learning, to stay on the cutting edge and to be serving others at the highest level of excellence. I read over 30 books a year, do continuing education, and spend time with mentors and coaches to 22 • February 2024

To continue on with working in and with what I think Is the best boutique brokerage in our county. I’m proud of our brand which consists of high character people who are committed to excellence in the work that we do, which is primarily residential sales. We’re an organically grown boutique brokerage with a loyal and faithful following, based on our serving approach to this business. Even though we’re known for high volume sales, we’re not numbers driven. We are service driven, people driven, relationship driven. That’s the answer as to why we’re sought out. We are committed to be high touch, small in numbers, but high in impact. The agents that we have are here because they understand the value of a, high character company. We are unique in that we don’t recruit agents. We see our brand exploding as word continues to get out with the new outreach in marketing to both buyers and sellers alike. What was your favorite part about having your story featured in Real Producers?

It reminds me of what an impactful role my mother had on me in life and in business. @realproducers

Beshoy Iskander Redefining Success and Family in Real Estate North Fort Worth is a dynamic landscape of neighborhoods reflective of the spirit of Texas. Beshoy Iskander stands tall among them as not just an agent but a master negotiator and a symbol of perseverance. His journey from a corporate VP to a top-producing realtor weaves a narrative threaded with resilience, passion, and an unwavering commitment to his clients’ dreams.

Born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, Beshoy’s odyssey began with a monumental move to Panama City, FL, at 18. Overcoming cultural barriers, he moved to Tallahassee, FL, to attend Florida State University, navigating different jobs while supporting himself financially and pursuing a degree in cyber criminology. His professional ascent soared when he secured a VP position at a Fortune 100 company. However, the allure of real estate had always beckoned, and in 2019, he answered the call, driven by his passion for helping families and nurturing their dreams.

realproducersmag.com

“Real estate always fascinated me,” Beshoy shares, reminiscing about his innate drive to guide and assist friends and family in building their investment portfolios or finding their first homes. His earnestness and expertise swiftly fueled his success, drawing on the foundation of trust forged through word-ofmouth and referrals. He also does his own flips and investments and has extensive experience with new construction homes. Beshoy’s strong connections with local builders have helped him secure great deals for his clients, walking them through the home building process each step of the way.

North Fort Worth Real Producers • 25

Amidst this journey, Beshoy encountered one of his most challenging decisions— transitioning from a lucrative six-figure cybersecurity job to pursue real estate full-time. This monumental leap underscored his unwavering dedication to his passion and his belief in the power of building relationships beyond transactions. “Success to turn dreams into realities,” Beshoy defines, his vision extending beyond conventional benchmarks to empowering families to secure their dream homes and build wealth through strategic real estate investments. For him, success is intertwined with continuous learning, market acumen, and above all, ensuring client satisfaction through adept negotiation skills. Navigating his real estate career, Beshoy has triumphed as a multi-million-dollar producer, marking his success through awards and recognitions as a Top Producer at both Coldwell Banker Realty and Worth Clark Realty. His story of resilience, however, extends beyond career achievements, encapsulated by the grit of an immigrant who arrived in the US with just $500, built a life from scratch, and embraced the ethos of hard work and dedication. Family holds a sacred place in Beshoy’s heart. His wife, Nouri, whom Beshoy counts as one of his biggest supporters, works hand-in-hand with him. As a top 1% mortgage broker in her brokerage, she is also a Real Producers Vetted Business and has been nominated as one of the nation’s top-producing

They share a beautiful daughter, Amelia, and golden retrievers round out the family serving as pillars of support. Beshoy also acknowledges his mother as someone vital to his success in this business. “She was one of my biggest supporters to start my real estate journey.” His advice to emerging realtors echoes his own journey—emphasizing relationships over transactions, unwavering support for struggling families, and the importance of partnering with problem-solving lenders. Beshoy’s essence lies in treating clients like family, actively listening to their needs, and working as a problem solver to fulfill their aspirations. DFW, for Beshoy, isn’t just a location—it’s his forever home, a vibrant hub brimming with diverse communities and endless opportunities. He envisions its ascent as the top choice for living in the US, propelled by population growth, expansive developments, and a multitude of engaging activities. As Beshoy continues to carve his path in real estate, his legacy transcends industry success; it rests on transforming lives, making dreams tangible, and championing the belief that in real estate, as in life, nurturing relationships and treating people like family is the key to triumphant journeys. 28 • February 2024

Integrity, Community, & MORTGAGE LENDING

Jonathan Alexander merges professionalism with a profound commitment to community service in a career spanning 16 years. As a mortgage loan consultant at First United Mortgage Group, Jonathan has spent 16 years honing his expertise, driven by a singular mission—to make a tangible difference in people’s lives through lending. His journey into the world of lending was inspired by a less-thanideal experience when purchasing his first home. This pivotal moment propelled Jonathan toward a career dedicated to redefining the lending experience, making it a smoother, more personable journey for others. “Working with integrity, giving back to the community, and being a resource for past clients and real estate partners,” Jonathan asserts, defining his passions in the business. It’s this ethos that sets him apart—an unwavering commitment to connecting with clients on both a professional and personal level.

North Fort Worth Real Producers • 33

Jonathan’s specialty lies in various lending facets, including jumbo lending, physician lending, construction lending, and guiding first-time homebuyers through the complex landscape of real estate transactions. However, beyond mere professional prowess, Jonathan’s distinctive approach lies in his ability to connect authentically with his clients, nurturing relationships that extend far beyond transactions. With 17 years of marriage and three children—a daughter and two boys—Jonathan finds joy in spending time with his family, whether engaged in sports, church activities, or simply enjoying each other’s company. It’s this family-centric approach that also permeates his professional life, infusing a sense of camaraderie and reliability into his dealings with clients and partners. Rooted in his Texan heritage, Jonathan’s journey led him to the DFW area after graduating from the University of North Texas. His devotion to his community isn’t confined to lending alone. He also donates a portion of his profits from closed loans to chosen non-profit partners, allowing

clients to contribute to causes close to their hearts—a testament to his dedication to serving others. But Jonathan’s definition of success extends far beyond professional accomplishments. For him, success is about balance—a harmonious integration of his professional and personal worlds, guided by a profound acknowledgment of the blessings he’s received. When not engaged in the intricacies of lending, Jonathan revels in family time, often immersing himself in music. His commitment to maintaining a healthy work-life balance is evident, with boundaries set to prioritize quality time with loved ones. In the year ahead, Jonathan’s goals remain simple yet profound—serving every client as he would his own family, striving to make a difference in their lives. “Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance, the only thing it cannot be is moderately important.” – C.S. Lewis

JEFF HAHN IN THE WORLD OF REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONALS, JEFF HAHN STANDS TALL AS A LUMINARY. FOR OVER TWO DECADES, JEFF HAS NAVIGATED THE DYNAMIC LANDSCAPE OF THE DFW AREA, CARVING A PATH THAT EXEMPLIFIES RESILIENCE AND DEDICATION.

Born in North Carolina and raised in the city of San Angelo, Texas, Jeff’s journey into real estate began after he graduated with a degree in business management from Texas Tech University. Prior to diving into the real estate domain, Jeff held the position of director of sales for a telecom hardware and software company, establishing a strong foundation for his future endeavors.

In 2003, Jeff faced a decision that would alter his career forever, and it was at that time that he embarked on a transformative journey. “I was offered the opportunity to take a severance package prior to company layoffs,” Jeff explains. “I took this time to reflect on what I could do for a new career that would compensate me relative to the amount of effort I put in. I decided to get my real estate license and start my own business.” Motivated by Gary Keller’s book, “The Millionaire Real Estate Agent,” Jeff ventured into the realm of entrepreneurship. Driven by a zeal for extreme customer service, he crafted a business that revolved around fostering lasting friendships that originated from client relationships.

Jeff’s trajectory wasn’t bereft of challenges. He admits that finding the right assistant to propel his business to greater heights posed a significant hurdle. But one challenge he relishes in his real estate business is the problem-solving aspect. “Every deal is different and has various challenges and problem-solving opportunities,” Jeff states. “We enjoy finding creative solutions to navigate complex transactions, negotiations, and client needs.” For Jeff, being in real estate as an entrepreneur is a dream in and of itself. “The business has given me knowledge about investing in my personal life with REITs, investment property purchases, and private equity that can provide a source of passive income, which can support other life goals.” When asked about his philosophy on success, Jeff explains that success for him is a subjective concept. “Success, for me, is about achieving specific business and personal goals, experiencing a sense of fulfillment and happiness, career accomplishments and building meaningful, healthy relationships.” However, Jeff’s accolades and accomplishments stand as a testament to his unwavering commitment and drive. He has received numerous awards, including recognition as a top performer in DFW REALTORS®, ranking among the Top 5 in KW Region, and earning designations such as ABR, CDPE, and CLHMS. Amidst his professional pursuits, Jeff finds joy in a variety of hobbies. From his love for golf, beach travel, and passion for Dallas Cowboys to his avid interest in Formula 1 racing, Jeff embraces a life teeming with

diverse interests. He also enjoys spending time with his fiancée, Shae Nault, who is also a Top 500 DFW REALTOR®, and they are well on their way to becoming one of the area’s power couples in real estate. In sharing advice with up and coming real estate professionals, Jeff underscores the importance of building relationships and trust. “Realize this is a relationship business,” he begins. “It takes time to build trust and prove your value. Interview and/or shadow agents at all business levels. See the difference in their habits and what is takes to be successful. He encourages newcomers to immerse themselves in

the industry, shadowing and learning from agents across various echelons to grasp the nuances of success.” Looking ahead, Jeff sets his sights on ambitious goals, aiming for 60 transactions in the upcoming year, driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence and an unshakeable work ethic. Amidst his vibrant career, Jeff embraces the cultural diversity, recreational avenues, and the ever-expanding horizons of the metropolitan area, and he envisions a future that continues to witness population and job growth, a promising trajectory for his business and the entire real estate industry in DFW.

For over eight years, they’ve forged a path in the residential and commercial property inspection domain, becoming a leading source of reliability, support, and thoroughness across the entire DFW Metroplex. “Our compassion and commitment to the real estate industry drive us to be a leading home and commercial inspection company, supporting agents in myriad ways,” Dale asserts, outlining their drive in the business. They do things differently, prioritizing value at every juncture for both home buyers and realtors throughout the entire inspection process. What sets them apart isn’t just one thing—it’s a combination of consistent excellence. Nancy, the full-time office manager, echoes their commitment to unparalleled customer service. “We’re available 24/7. Real estate operates around the clock, and we embrace that,” she remarks, emphasizing their responsiveness. The Lockamys’ fundamental principle—”EVERYTHING MATTERS”—guides their meticulous work ethic, from the initial client call to post-inspection inquiries. Their tagline—Fast, Trusted, Accurate—defines their modus operandi, ensuring inspections are completed swiftly (typically in 2.5 hours) with reports delivered the same day or by the following morning. Their passion centers on empowering clients and agents with factual, non-alarming information. “We’re here to provide the best-informed decisions on a home’s condition,” Dale emphasizes, stressing their dedication to factual, unemotional reporting. Unique to HomeTeam Inspection Service is their team-based approach. With multiple inspectors at most inspections, they offer unparalleled thoroughness, especially in luxury markets and larger square footage homes where they’ll deploy as many as four inspectors at one time. This approach ensures a comprehensive, efficient evaluation while delivering results in an easy-to-understand manner.

O

impact award

Written by: Katherine H. Fondren Photos by: Ilona Jade Photography

On the DFW real estate scene, Laura Cramer emerges not just as an agent but as a guiding light, shaping careers and fostering community connections. A REALTOR® and Director of Agent Development at Martin Realty Group, Laura’s story unfolds in a story of compassion, resilience, and a deep-rooted passion for aiding others. Her journey into real estate stems from humble beginnings in Oklahoma. Raised amidst challenges, Laura recounts her mother’s journey entering the real estate world, a move that not only helped them navigate a tough phase but also ignited Laura’s fascination with the industry.

Transitions marked her journey, relocating from Oklahoma to Dallas/ Fort Worth in 2018. Despite feeling daunted at the prospect of rebuilding her business, Laura resolutely resumed full throttle in October 2020, exhibiting unwavering determination in carving her niche. Fueling her fervor is a deep-seated passion for community service, instilled in her by a life marked with giving. Engaging with her local church, serving the youth ministry, and leading initiatives like the She

Is Fearless teen girls conference, Laura embodies the essence of selfless contribution. “We are a family always seeking ways to donate time and talents,” Laura enthuses, her commitment reflected in organizing annual food drives and through her family’s dedication to the foster care community, impacting the lives of 28 children over their 6 years as a foster care family. While juggling familial roles, Laura’s career thrived, achieving milestones

“My mom’s brief stint in real estate sparked my passion for the field,” Laura reminisces, recalling her afternoons in the office, soaking in the intricacies of the profession and kindling her fervor for real estate. At the tender age of 18, Laura’s path merged with a seasoned agent, Vanessa Johnson, who took her under her wing as a personal assistant. “Vanessa provided me the platform to learn contracts, systems, and the essence of managing a real estate career,” Laura reflects, acknowledging the crucial period that nurtured her foundational knowledge. Life presented its unique chapters, leading Laura into another field briefly before embracing motherhood and becoming a stay-at-home mom. However, the allure of real estate remained at the forefront of her mind, beckoning her back in 2016. “With encouragement and prayer, I ventured back into real estate,” Laura shares, recounting her faith-driven leap that yielded 16 sales in her inaugural year, affirming she had found her calling.

like the Rising Star award in her debut year and securing top-producer accolades. However, her definition of success extends beyond accolades. “Success is building relationships, loving people, and shaping other REALTORS’ careers,” Laura emphasizes, highlighting her multifaceted definition steeped in community and mentorship. Self-motivation, Laura concedes, is a constant challenge in the world of self-employment. Nurturing a referral-based business from scratch twice, relocating states, and rebuilding her sphere of influence taught her invaluable lessons, fortifying her resolve to aid fledgling agents in similar journeys. Laura’s passion shines brightest in her role as a mentor. Establishing a robust mentorship program, she invests time and resources to guide fledgling agents. The program combines online training with personalized coaching, aiming to mold ethical, client-centric REALTORS. “I

meet with each of them weekly for coaching and biweekly as a group for extra training and classes. I am their point of contact when they have questions or need help and am occasionally even their shoulder to cry on!” Laura explains candidly. “I love changing the stigma around our industry with proper agent training,” Laura asserts, aiming to sculpt agents who prioritize clients’ interests ethically and proficiently. Beyond her pivotal role as a real estate luminary, Laura relishes family moments, delights in nature walks, puzzles, and quality time with her husband, three daughters, Hailey, 10, Maci, 9, and Emilia (Millie) 3, and her cherished Texas and Oklahoma extended families. As Laura navigates the ever-evolving real estate landscape, she remains an inspiration to others, a catalyst for growth, and an ardent advocate for community, leaving an indelible mark on both her profession and the lives she touches. @realproducers

Theresa Mason’s journey into the world of real estate is a unique blend of entrepreneurial spirit and profound personal experiences, a journey that resonates through her role as a broker, business leader, and community advocate. By following her calling and living the story God has written for her, Theresa is making a difference in the North Fort Worth real estate market and beyond.

Justin. “Real Estate is part of my story right here, right now,” Theresa emphasizes, underscoring how this profession aligns with her desire to serve others and create avenues for growth and leadership. Soon, she would become the broker/owner of Magnolia Realty Grapevine, a place promoting a culture of like-minded agents who can also live out their own stories.

Originally hailing from Columbus, Ohio, Theresa’s roots spread through various entrepreneurial ventures before her transition into real estate. “After graduating from [the University of] Notre Dame, I went into business with my mother, painting wall murals,” Theresa recalls, reminiscing about her earlier career before finding her footing in Texas. She continued the mural business, painting homes, businesses, and schools, before transitioning into a residential and commercial painting company in the DFW area.

An intrinsic part of Theresa’s real estate journey is her personal experience in housing, having lived in five different homes with her husband in the 11 years of their marriage. Their experiences encompassed various aspects of homeownership, from upsizing and downsizing to renovations, tenancy, and different financing strategies, reflecting their profound understanding of the diverse facets of real estate.

However, her story took a new trajectory in 2013, marking her full-time entry into real estate alongside her husband,
