STULTS LANE STULTS
the industry.
“My wife and I were high school sweethearts. We had our son early on in life when we were 18 years old. We went out and got jobs and then got married and bought our first home when we were 20 years old.”

That was around the time that the economic downturn of the late 2000s gripped the country. In the meantime, Lane’s sister, Season, had started her own brokerage. That’s when The Property Shop was born.
On Track for Success
At the time, Lane and Bethany both worked at BNSF Railway. Lane worked as an engineer, and Bethany served as a dispatcher. In the meantime, during their career with the railroad, Lane and Bethany did a series of live-in flips.
“We really enjoyed the process of buying a house, living there, fixing up the property, selling it, and then moving on to the next property. We also started an investment company that involves buying and holding rental properties,” Lane remembers.
“It was going well, so we thought about taking it further. So, I got my license and left the railroad after 12 years. About a year later, Bethany decided to get her license and to also step out of the railroad industry … and we became full-time REALTORS®.”
Immediately, the change to working in real estate was a refreshing one for Lane.
“We came from a career where everyone got paid the same, no matter how good or how bad you did,” Lane says.
“It’s nice to be in a career where you can stay consistent, put in the work, and earn based on the work that you put in.”
Highlights at Home Family time is at the center of life for Lane and Bethany. Together they cherish time with their children — 18-year-old son Rylan, 15-year-old daughter Adeline, 6-year-old daughter Sawyer and 4-year-old daughter Scout.

In their free time, Lane and his family share a love of TCU sports. In fact, they are football and basketball season ticket holders. They also enjoy supporting their children in their school and sports activities.
They also have a heart for helping … supporting Fort Worth Children’s Charities.
Leading the Way In addition, Lane gives back to the industry that he loves. He leads two Mastermind groups at The Property Shop, including Motivational Monday — a weekly group that meets to start the week on the right note, and a monthly Top Producers group to share thoughts on a variety of topics, including ideas on approaching the various market areas.
Talking with Lane, it doesn’t take long to see his genuine nature and straightforward approach. At the same time, he also brings a fun, lighthearted approach to his work with clients.
It’s no coincidence. In fact, Lane would love to, one day, be a stand-up comedian. In the meantime, he emcees local events and remains focused on being his best, being consistent, and setting an example of excellence.
