ASHLEY RUPP LEADING WITH HEART
When it comes to reaching results in real estate, there’s no replacement for having an ongoing understanding of the business and the market … and the experience to know how to apply that knowledge. But that’s still just the start.
The Skills and The Will to Make a Difference

All of the knowledge in the world doesn’t make a difference in the real world without the spark — the will ingness and passion for making good things happen for other people.
Ashley Rupp is one of the leaders in the region who has the skills and the will.
As senior vice president with Allie Beth Allman & Associates, Ashley has been making an undeniable, positive impact on the local real estate market over time. She’s done it by leading with her heart … working in all areas and price points through time to meet the need wherever it existed.
“I’ve always enjoyed making the deal work and go through so that everyone achieves their goals,” Ashley explains. “I like finding the house that matches the client and then negotiating the terms that work for them.”
Gaining Ground
Ashley grew up in Fort Worth, and she graduated from Country Day School. She went on to receive her BS from the University of Texas at Austin.
As she entered the working world, she joined the team at Neiman Marcus, where she found success in sales. In the meantime, she let her heart lead her to ways of bettering the community through her efforts with abandoned and abused animals.
“I walked the shelters two times a week and tried to rescue animals, including dogs, cats, and rabbits that were scheduled to be euthanized. I thought I needed to work to make money, so I could save more animals. It was heartbreaking. I couldn’t save all of the animals,” Ashley says.
“Before the advent of online communications and social media, I wrote a description of each animal, and then I would fax the information to many people and rescue groups to try to find homes for the animals. Today it is much improved, with pictures of animals being posted through email and online.”
Passion for People
As Ashley began her real estate career and built it steadily through time, she put her passion for helping people to work. The process was rewarding for her.
“I found real estate to be a fun challenge. It wasn’t something that I looked at as being stressful. I loved making people happy,” Ashley says.

“I’ve made some of my best friends in the world through real estate. I’m the godmother of two of my clients’ children and vice versa. In the end, it’s always exciting to see a deal close, and my clients have their desired results.”
Family Fulfillment
Away from work, Ashley’s world is made much richer by her family, including her husband, Jeff, and children — 26-year-old daughter, Anna; 24-year-old son, Mitchell; and 13-year-old daughter, Phoebe.
Ashley looks back with happiness on the influence of her parents and the lessons they taught her from an early age. Her father, Holt Smith, was an entertainment attorney who moved to Los Angeles when Ashley was growing up. Ashley’s mother, Beverly Snyder, penned books about parenting. As a result, she spent time between Los Angeles and Texas.
Her free time is punctuated by plenty of active pursuits, including traveling, snow skiing, and enjoying the outdoors. Some of her favorite destinations that she has explored through time include places such as Mexico, Morocco, and all over Europe.
Building with Her Best
Today, talking with Ashley, it’s easy to see the qualities that have continued to make her a leader through time, including kindness, honesty, trustworthiness, and transparency.
“My goal is to help people feel great about the entire process.
They trust me and believe in me. That’s why they end up being my long-term clients and friends. What I do isn’t really about money. It’s about accomplishment and wanting to do a good job,” Ashley says.
Congratulations to Ashley Rupp for her ongoing leadership and commitment to helping those around her achieve their goals in real estate in life. In turn, she does it by leading with her heart.
