Servicing the Cowichan area, our flagship facility features an aquatic venue that includes a wave pool, lazy river, twin water slides, 8 lane 25-metre competitive lap pool, steam room, sauna and swirl pool. Additionally, we feature an abundance of fitness classes, a full fitness centre, meeting spaces, birthday parties and more.

Serving North Cowichan and the surrounding area, this arena provides an excellent ice skating surface, two meeting rooms, and ample parking to handle a variety of activities. In addition, it is home to a variety of programs and is the recreation base for the communities of Chemainus and Crofton.

The Crofton Outdoor Pool is open from the end of June through late August each summer. It features a 20 yard, 4 lane heated pool complete with changerooms, showers and a small diving board. Each year we offer swim lessons, length swimming, fitness classes and fun swims for kids and youth.

Serving North Cowichan and the surrounding area, this park provides an excellent beachfront area, tennis courts, pickleball courts, beach volleyball courts, changerooms and playgrounds. There is a roped off swim area, along with a floating dock, which is lifeguarded seasonally late June through late August.

The Crofton Pool is available for rentals on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Specific 1 hour rental time blocks are available. Call reception at 250-746-7665 or email recreation@northcowichan.ca for more information.
FULLER LAKE PARK
Fuller Lake Park hosts a beachfront roped off swimming area, picnic tables, tennis courts, beach volleyball court, a floating swimming pier, changerooms and washrooms.
Inflatable toys are not permitted in the roped off swimming area.

Medical Withdrawals:
In cases of extended illness or injury, a prorated refund or credit may be granted upon the provision of a medical note. Classes missed due to sickness, vacation, or other reasons will not be refunded or credited
We have to cancel:
A 100% refund is granted when we cancel a program (instructor illness, facility closure, etc.). If a class has to be cancelled, an additional one will be added at the end of the session whenever possible.
Refund Processing:
Payments made by credit card will be refunded to the initial payment. Payments made by cash, cheque, or debit will be refunded by cheque or an account credit Please allow a minimum of 2 weeks’ processing time

Education Assistant Assessment
This is designed for School District employees working with children with special needs A quick swimming evaluation that includes an entry into the water, a 50-meter swim (two lengths of the pool), treading water or basic surface support, and a review of basic reaching assists A certificate is included once the candidate has completed this 15-minute session.
