Servicing the Cowichan area, our flagship facility features a full-featured aquatic venue that includes a wave pool, lazy river, twin water slides, 8 lane 25-metre competitive lap pool, steam room, sauna and swirl pool. Additionally, we feature an abundance of fitness classes, a full fitness centre, meeting spaces, birthday parties and more.

Serving North Cowichan and the surrounding area, this arena provides an excellent ice skating surface, two meeting rooms, and ample parking to handle a variety of activities. In addition, it is home to a variety of programs and is the recreation base for the communities of Chemainus and Crofton.

Gold Pass
Comes as a 6-month or yearly pass including 2 tokens each visit, automatic extensions for stat holidays, and shutdown. Plus you can freeze the pass if you are unable to attend. (minimum of 7 days)
Family Pass
Every family is different and we have options for all. All you need to access our family rates is to have a youth, child, preschooler, or infant with an adult caregiver With the monthly Family Pass, you can attend Fuller Lake Arena and the Cowichan Aquatic Centre as much as you want, together or separately (kids under 7 need an adult with them). One of you could attend a drop-in fitness class at the Cowichan Aquatic Centre, another could go public skating at Fuller Lake Arena, while others enjoy a soak in the sauna - all at the same time!
Leisure Access Pass
The Leisure Access Pass provides low-income residents the ability to access basic recreation programs and services in the Municipality of North Cowichan These include drop-in programs and all public swimming and skating events (skate rentals not included).

From time to time we all end up with unexpected emergencies or interruptions.
When we cancel:
Regrettably, if a minimum number of participants is not met, we may have to cancel or combine classes due to insufficient registration These decisions are made prior to the course start date. Please register early to avoid disappointment. A 100% refund is granted when we cancel a program. When a class has been cancelled due to instructor illness, weather conditions, or facility interruptions, a class will be added on at the end of the session whenever possible. If this is not possible, you will be issued a refund in the amount of the missed class.
When you have to cancel:
A refund will be issued if we receive the applicable withdrawal notification Programs and lessons require five (5) or more days notice before the course start date. Camps, certification courses, and facility bookings require seven (7) or more days notice before the course start date. If appropriate notice is not given, no refund will be issued. There may be other exceptions to these guidelines. In some cases, these exceptions will be noted in the individual course description To request a refund, please contact the facility that is offering your program. All refunds are subject to a $5 processing fee.

Youth between the ages of 13-15 years old must complete a fitness orientation and be registered to use the fitness center The orientation will provide you with essential information to help you get started on an exercise program such as basic equipment use and tips on weight training to prevent injury to yourself or the equipment Once the orientation is completed, participants will be registered at reception as having completed the orientation and they will receive 1 pass to the facility

Lifesaving Instructor
The Lifesaving Instructor course prepares instructors to teach the Lifesaving Society's Bronze Star, Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross Candidates are trained in, and must demonstrate skills, knowledge, and attitudes at a Competency Level 2 to achieve certification Prerequisites include being over the age of 15 and Bronze Cross.
