HALFWAY THROUGH

2021!

We have officially reached the halfway point of 2021! And the possibilities that are coming up are endless! Our membership numbers are rising, our participation at events is up and many of our members are building stronger relationships than ever as we all bond over the last year we have had.

When I sit down to write these articles I try to reflect on how the last month has shaped our organization. Currently I am completely overjoyed with the direction we are heading. We have had 2 members mixers so far and both of them have been very well attended! At the last one at the Rush Inn, we had over 10 potential new members and we gave out so many potential member packets. Our membership chairs Matt Herb and Jon Sherer have made it a point to talk to all of these potential members and we should see another uptick in new members here within the next month! I could not be more proud of the work that these two are putting in! From coming up with a unique and amazing theme, to making sure they attend all of the events, to greeting the new and potential members, it just makes my heart so happy! Attending the OHBA state board meeting solidified that feeling as well. Where many other associations across the state are struggling, we are among the top in recruiting and retaining our members! I’d like to think it is because we are constantly trying to come up with new and exciting ways to support you within the NCBIA.

With that being said, I need your help. We would like to put together a series of educational classes to help you grow your business. I would like to hear from you as to what you would have an interest in learning about. Maybe it's some tips on how to use Quickbooks more efficiently or questions on how to ramp up your social media marketing. Or maybe you offer a product or service that you would be interested in teaching a class on!
