(843) 666-3685 I 2500 CITY HALL LANE, NORTH CHARLESTON, SC 29406 North Charleston is dedicated to building a community of inclusion, where individuals of all abilities are encouraged to play, learn, and grow together. INCLUSIVE PARKS HELP BUILD COMMUNITIES PARK CIRCLE Sponsorship Opportunities
The City of North Charleston Recreation Department has always been committed to making our city a great place to live, work, and play. With the Park Circle Renovation Project, we want to take North Charleston into the future by doing more than just checking the ADA compliance box. We are dedicated to making this a space that truly embodies the meaning of inclusivity by creating a multi-generational space with everyone in mind.
The power and benefits of play lay the foundation for the development of cognitive, physical, social and sensory skills. This facility will be one of the most inclusive locations, not only in the state of South Carolina, but in the world. It is our vision to create an inclusive hub that allows every person in our community and visiting communities to feel a sense of belonging, growth and acceptance when they enter this park.
As a partner in this project, you will be supporting a community of people with various abilities, ages and backgrounds. This is a historic moment for the City of North Charleston and as a sponsor, you have the opportunity to help build a legacy and a facility that will be enjoyed for decades to come.

With its unique track trolley system and comfortable seat suspended by a grippy, rubber-wrapped chain, ZipKrooz was engineered for exceptional quality, comfort and safety.
DOUBLE OODLE SWING
Kids can climb, rotate, and explore two levels in this fun-filled structure. This rotating climber is designed so that children using a wheelchair are able to transfer into the base of the globe. With 14 nets that can be climbed on the inside or outside and two multi-person seating areas, Global Motion provides thrills for many kids at once.
The Double Oodle Swing provides oodles of fun for kids! This inclusive playground swing is set side-by-side and kids of all abilities will love the thrill of its left to right and back and forth motion. A child can easily transfer from a mobility device into the swing, and its shape allows children to sit or lay together while providing support.

AGES I 13 AND OLDER
This area of the playground has equipment designed for older individuals (13+ years). These pieces not only allow for older play opportunities but can also be utilized for exercise purposes. Teens and adults of all fitness levels can test and enhance their strength with the Ledge Hanger and Rope Climb, or work on their agility and balance with the Spiderwalk, Wheel Bridge and Angled Balance Beam.
EXTREME A-FRAME CARGO NET
EXTREME JUMP HANG
Climb up one side, transition over the top beam and climb down the other side to conquer the A-Frame Cargo Net. The net movement as users climb require them to respond by adjusting their grip, upper, lower and core muscles.
EXTREME QUINTUPLE STEPS
Jump from the launch ramp to grab the cargo net and then traverse the underside of the net while using the Jump Hang to reach the other side without touching the ground.
EXTREME SPIDERWALK
Competitors using the Extreme Quintuple Steps must leap across five angled steps to successfully complete this challenge. The Gray panel provides a grippy target, but the black range on either side provides extra width to land on.
EXTREME ANGLED OVERHEAD LADDER
The Extreme Spiderwalk requires users to traverse the space between two walls without touching the ground or grabbing the top part of the walls. The space between the walls is narrower at the bottom and wider at the top to allow the hands and feet of all sizes of competitors to reach.
EXTREME HIGH STEP
The Angled Overhead Ladder tests upper body strength. E-Pod steps at each end allow teens and adults of all sizes to reach the rungs, and pods in the middle allow entry or dismount for a shorter challenge.
Speed and agility are keys to mastering the High Step. Six posts suspend a net above the ground, requiring fancy footwork to land within each square.
TUNE LAGOON
AGES I 2 YEARS & OLDER
This area of the playground is designed for individuals of any age and provides users with the benefits of music therapy. Musical instruments offer a unique way for kids and adults to be creative and express themselves both physically and emotionally. The chimes, metallophones, bells and drums in this section allow people of all ages and their families to make music together. It is a unique feature of the playground.
KETTLE, KUNDU & GOBLET DRUMS METALLOPHONE
This all ages piece of equipment allows users to create their own music or sound out familiar tunes together. Using a mallet users will experience all 15 lush notes on this captivating metallophone as they create music together.
GRANDIOSO CHIMES
These classic and goblet shaped drums provide unique percussive sounds. Polycarbonate drum skins, which can be played with fingers or hands, allow for easy roll-up access for those using a wheelchair.
VIBRA CHIMES
Players can soar two full octaves across this extravagant instrument, striking rich tones in a major key. Fully wheelchair accessible, everyone can take part in experiencing the great musical quality. Multiple mallets accommodate both solo performances and playing compositions with friends, new and old.
The Vibra Chimes includes a full range of notes that children can use to play any song of their creation. The vibration produced by each chime provides a fun sensory experience for all.
WARBLE CHIMES
Kids can bing and bong their way along one full octave on this richly toned instrument. The Warble is at a lower height than the Grandioso so that younger kids can easily play.
