CONSTRUCTION

ULTRA CARBON TECHNOLOGY

The Ultra-carbon construction uses five different types of carbon in two different modulus, so stiffness is optimum in some areas, while a little flex elsewhere is an asset.

PRO CARBON TECHNOLOGY

Layers of 10K spread-tow carbon, 300gsm triaxial carbon & 3DY carbon tapes provide torsional and longitudinal board stiffness, for a lightning-fast and reactive response when loaded.

TRIAXIAL HYBRID CARBON TECHNOLOGY

Engineered using 0 and +/- 45deg fibres, with 3DY Carbon. The Hybrid Carbon layup improves the overall stiffness and torsional stiffness of the board and is more forgiving on the knees.

BIAXIAL HYBRID CARBON TECHNOLOGY

Using a 380gsm e-glass with 3DY Carbon allows us to tailor a board’s weight and overall flex pattern for lighter winds or riders while maintaining its lively feel, lower weight, and pop.

COMPOSITE TECHNOLOGY

Tapered Paulownia wood core with engineered biaxial E-glass laminate layups on the top and bottom.

BALANCED FLEX PATTERN

North exclusive 3DY Carbon Unidirectional reinforcement tape is run in the direction of the load paths, transferring the load from your bindings to the edge effectively.

CENTRE-V AND QUAD CHANNELS

The ultra-lightweight dual-density foam core minimises weight while maintaining strength in high-load areas. Higher-density foam reinforcement under the heels prevents core crush.

Pressed differently to the Pro, the Atmos with E-Glass and 3DY Carbon has a more forgiving flex pattern. Layup combines with medium rocker for early planing, fast response & excellent pop.

The quad concave channels with V-spine provide added stiffness, helping deflect the water for less resistance across the board’s surface, better upwind traction and high-speed control.

COMPOSITE FINS INCLUDED - 40MM

Strong, abrasion-resistant composite fins with dogbone washers and M6 screws. 40mm fins provide optimal grip.

COMPOSITE FINS INCLUDED

Fins are a tuning device; more outline curve combined with a slightly bigger fin helps you carve in full control and maintains stability. Prime supplied with 40mm or 50mm fins. Flare with 20mm.

A Y-shaped Paulownia Wood core reinforcement helps to absorb impact. It runs in the direction of the load path to efficiently transfer the load from your bindings to the edge.

DOUBLE CONCAVE BOTTOM SHAPE

The centre spine and double concave bottom shape help to reduce the impact load on landings.

DOUBLE CONCAVE TO DEEP-V SPINE

DURABLE ABS RAIL & SMOOTHED EDGE

Long-lasting performance ABS rails with user-friendly smoothed edges help protect your skin from accidental scrapes and bruises.

DYNAMIC FLEX

Core thickness variations, taper, and longitudinal and lateral detailing play a significant role in controlling the overall feel. Board-specific laminate layups further fine-tune the flex.

EARLY PLANING IN LIGHT WIND

Extra waterline length, a straighter, square outline with wide tips and medium rocker guarantees early planing, forward momentum and upwind performance in the lightest wind.

EARLY SPLASH-FREE PLANING

Pulled-in flexible tips with a progressive single concave - deepest in centre and flatter toward tips - for faster early planing, a nicely tuned tip flex and slicing splash-free through chop.

ERGONOMIC HANDLE

Supplied with a lightweight and ergonomic TPE material handle with grip when wet. Use TT Handle Extensions to create more handle height - ideal for riders with larger hands, or less flexibility.

FLEX / FLEX PRO BINDINGS

Soft cushioning with grip when wet. Featuring seamless KnitFlex inners and triple-density GripFlex footbeds, with size and stance adjustments for a locked-in feel and dependable support.

FLEX BINDINGS/ FIX BOOTS

Featherlite, low-cut boots with easy one-handed entry and exit, shock absorption, direct feel and maximum comfort KnitFlex lining. The freestyle/freeride Focus is boot or binding compatible.

The FlipTech Mounting System with centreline inserts means if you wear out one side of your board, simply flip the bindings around and you’ve got a new heelside rail again.

Absorbs impact by breaking the water surface tension to deliver smooth, predictable landings. Quad channel tips help push the water flow out towards the fins for effective tracking.

FULL-LENGTH RAIL CHANNELS

Full-length rail channels form a second lip at the tip, outside of the fin area, to give the board more hold, spread the load and soften the impact, so you can really stomp your landings.

LARGER INTEGRATED GRAB RAIL

LIGHTWEIGHT IMPACTRESISTANT CORE

A deeper rail is structurally integrated into the deck shape to provide easy grip for board-offs. The Grab-it rail can be used as an accessory with this deeper grab rail.

Renewable Paulownia hardwood is lightweight, with high shearstrength and impact resistance. Core thickness is individually finetuned, so characteristics are consistent throughout the range.

Delivers easy carving through turns and always provides optimised grip.

POP FOR LIGHTWIND TRICKS

PRECISE EDGE CONTROL

The progressive medium-low rocker line is ideal for flatwater and creates a board with phenomenal pop that is surprisingly manoeuvrable and easy to turn despite its size.

Balanced rocker, outline and flex create a quick-response board for powerful upwind tracking and Big Air boosts, with edge channels outside of the double concave for even greater edge control.

Progressive medium rocker and pulled-in tips for early planing and overpowered riding

PROGRESSIVE ROCKER, SQUARER OUTLINE

Generates ultimate pop for aggressive freestyle moves. The wide square tip shape adds stiffness and tracking on landings.

PROGRESSIVE SINGLE CONCAVE

The rocker is flatter on the centre line than rails. This shallower rocker gets up onto the plane easier, then as you start to roll onto your rail, the more pronounced rocker holds power.

ROCKER, OUTLINE AND FLEX HARMONY

Delivers easy carving through turns and greater traction, allowing you to hold that rail and edge harder to load up the board for an explosive release.

STANDARDISED M6 STAINLESS HARDWARE

Standardised SS316 M6x16mm hardware across all twin tip boards and accessories enables the use of the same PH3 screwdriver for assembly and makes replacement of parts super easy.
