ROOF TRUSSES - MANUFACTURED LOCALLY Roof Trusses are individually designed components made from strength-graded mber and joined together with steel nail plate fasteners. They provide structural framework to support the roof fabric, ceilings and/or floors and can be used in a wide range of building types including mber frame, masonry and steel frame. Our in-house team of highly experienced and professional designers use the latest CAD techniques and sooware to translate architectural drawings into all types of truss design. Trusses are then engineered, cut and manufactured to exact requirements at our Five Oaks depot. POSI -JOISTS - MANUFACTURED LOCALLY Posi-Joists combine the lightness of mber with the strength of the Posi-Strut Steel Web; you can span far greater distances than would be possible with alternaave mber products. This gives you unequalled design freedom across a wide range of applicaaons for both floor and a roof in domessc, industrial and commercial applicaaons. The Posi-Joist allows a variety of internal room layouts within an external shell due to its clear spanning capabiliies.The Posi-Joist does not just joist floors; it can adequately span for flat and pitched roofs. Its span capability and mber flanges make it the more desirable alternaave to all steel systems.The unique open web design makes installaaon of services and uuliies far simpler and quicker resullng in a reduccon in both labour costs and build me on site.

TIMBER FRAME All pre-fabricated panels are manufactured in a factory controlled environment to ensure accurate construccon. All mbers used are structural grade C16/C24 sourced from PEFC cerrfied suppliers. Frame Studs are generally at 600 centres with an external layer of sheathing and breather paper fified. Timber fframe buildings are thermally efficient which can help to reduce heaang costs by an average 40% which, in turn, helps to achieve lower carbon emissions. Using mber frame means a speedy construccon of your build with an average me saving of 30% as opposed to tradiional methods of construccon. As mber frame is essennally a 'dry' form of construccon the long drying out period associated with 'wet' construccon is avoided. For example a typical 4-bedroomed house can be erected and made waterrght within approximately 6 days. INSULATED PANELS Factory Fiied insulaaon to the external panels can be offered as an opponal extra to provide a high level of thermal efficiency straight out the factory reducing me and waste on site. The use of 120mm PIR in the external panels combined with a Brick/blockwork finish will achi achieve a U-Value of 0.19. DESIGN & ENGINEERING For all of our products we provide full design and engineering to meet with all current standards and legislaaons. Using the most up to date computer aided design sooware our Designers will provide fully detailed drawings, iniially for your approval prior to the manufacture, secondly for the correct installaaon of the product.
