thatisspentwalkingonmyown,with sporadiclittleinteractionswithfriendsand otherregulars.Thisroutineenablesmeto staymotivatedenoughandfitenoughtostill enteracoupleofmulti-dayultramarathons eachyear.Igettospendasignificant proportionofeverydayoutdoors,regardless oftheweather,andIgettospenditletting mythoughtsgowherevertheychoosetogo.
So,Ihavealotoftimetothinkabouthowto livemybestlifewithintheconstraintsofmy situationandage.IappreciatethatIamina veryfortunateposition.Idon’thaveneeds thatcan’tbemeteasily.Idon’thave overwhelmingresponsibilities.Ihavetrusted, interestingfriends,andIhavetime.

Wearelocatedinthetownof Walsingham,twokilometreswest ofthetown,onthesixthconcession.
Whatdoesyourbusinessoffer?
Pickyourownvegetablesand flowersduringthesummer.We havemanyvarietiesoftomatoes andeggplant.Weoccasionallysell vegetablesandflowersatthePort Rowanfarmersmarket.Weattend theStratfordGarlicFestival.We haveduckandchickeneggs,as wellasafewbirdsforthefreezer. Garlichasbeenagoodcropforus. Wealsohaveblackgarlic,whichis cookedandgivesitasweetand savourytaste,butittakesabout sevendaystocookslowly.
