FROM THE RPOS DIRECTOR The temperatures are getting cooler, making it a great time to get out and play in Norfolk! Celebrate the season - sign the kids up for a pumpkin patch diarama workshop, or plant a free tree picked up at Norfolk’s Arbor Day festivities. Uncover Norfolk’s scary side at the Murder, Mystery & Mayhem cemetery tour. Make your own clay mask, just in time for trick-or-treating. Seniors will enjoy their own day of fun and laughter at the Costumes & Comedy Show.

It’s also a great time to explore Norfolk’s natural spaces. Observe the changing foliage on a stroll through one of our many parks. Help our Park Rangers keep Norfolk beautiful by joining in the preservation efforts of International Coastal Cleanup Day. Little ones will take nature hikes as part of the monthly Guardians of the Greenery activities.
