THE RIDE OF A LIFETIME

Vegas visitors can now explore three of the world’s most breathtaking destinations without ever leaving the Strip.

Last September, the multisensory attraction FlyOver in Las Vegas launched its third flight ride film, “Windborne: Call of the Canadian Rockies.” Shown in stunning 8K high definition on FlyOver’s 52.5-foot spherical screen, the film showcases the Canadian Rockies’ remote mountains and dramatic vistas as riders gently soar over 18 beautiful locales, including Mount Forbes in Banff National Park and the Saskatchewan River. In addition to providing a rare glimpse into some of the most isolated areas of the mountain range, the film highlights incredible feats of human ability. Riders will get an adrenaline rush watching world-renowned athletes like ice climber Will Gadd and freeskier Christina Lustenberger do what they do best from an unparalleled vantage point.

“Windborne: Call of the Canadian Rockies” joins two other flight ride films currently playing at FlyOver in Las Vegas. “Legendary Iceland” features nearly 30 different landmarks and locations throughout the Icelandic region, including the Aldeyjarfoss waterfall and the Dyrhólaey cliffs, while “Wonders of the American West” spotlights 17 of the Western United States’ most beautiful landmarks, including Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve in Colorado and the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah. During each film, location-specific mists, scents and wind help fully immerse guests in the action taking place on-screen, while FlyOver’s stateof-the-art moving platform uses six degrees of motion to make riders feel as though they are soaring, dipping or diving like a bird over every jaw-dropping location.

FlyOver in Las Vegas is located at the Showcase Mall. The attraction opens daily at 9 a.m.; closing hours vary. Each adventure takes approximately a half-hour with the pre-shows, so be sure to book your rides accordingly if you want to experience more than one destination. flyoverlasvegas.com
