We are less than one month away the NOMV Annual Gala Awards! Jo in Santa Fe, New Mexico on Decem for an evening filled with camara and fun, thanks to our wonderful sponsor, AmeriVet.
The night will include an incredib keynote presentation about veter wellbeing by Dr. Joseph Hahn from Merck Wellbeing Study, an introd to the Ontario film crew producin NOMV PSA, an award ceremony highlighting the incredible accomplishments of the organization and our supporters, and of course food and networking opportunities!
If you cannot make it to Santa Fe, you can also join us for part of the evening via Zoom!
NOMV is participating in Giving Tuesday this year! On November 29th, you can help make a difference for the veterinary community AND let someone you care about know you are thinking of them!
When you make a $25 donation, NOMV will mail a postcard to a person of your choosing letting them know you donated on their behalf. Let us know the name and address of the person you want to dedicate your gift to, and we will mail them a postcard with all our love!
The NOMV Cyberbullying Task Force is excited to announce the official start of their project!
Thanks to the generous sponsorship of this proje by Koala Pharmacy, the task force will work to cre a plan and resources to help clinics and individu deal with cyberbullying incidents In addition to their generous financial support, Koala Pharmacy staff are joining the task force to bring their expertise and further support the veterinary community.

In October 2022, NOMV awarded $11,750 to 26 approved applicants. This included many clinics affected by Hurricane Ian. NOMV would like to thank Dechra for their generous donation for this cause!

In honor of National Veterinary Technician Week, NOMV Advocates delivered "appreciation trees" to veterinary clinics across the country!
A total of 81 tree posters were delivered, and clinics were encouraged to make the trees available to either clients to write appreciation to veterinary professionals, or for staff to support one another

NOMV would like to spotlight Caitlin Furl Caitlin is NOMV's Vice President, and Cha of the Race Around the World and CLEAR Blueprint Committees.
In 2018, Caitlin joined an equine veterinary practice as the Marketing and Events Coordinator where she started to learn about veterinary suicide and the lack of resources readily availab Caitlin joined the NOMV Board of Directors with a passion to create positive mental health initiatives/resources for the veterinary profession.
Caitlin’s vision for NOMV led to establishing NOMV’s largest annual fundraiser – the NOMV Race Around the World!
