Advocate Care Package At NOMV, we love supportive friendships!

This month, NOMV member, Samantha, noticed that her friend and fellow veterinarian, Marcy, was experiencing a difficult time and because she lives over a thousand miles away she turned to NOMV for ideas to offer support to her friend. Samantha was quickly connected to the NOMV Advocate program and was excited to learn there is an advocate in Marcy’s city. Samantha shared some of Marcy’s interests so that the NOMV Advocate team could create a custom care package just for Marcy.

When Samantha received this picture of Marcy she was thrilled to see the care package lifted her friends spirits. According to Samantha, “Marcy’s smile could not be wiped off her face” … and this picture of Marcy shows just that!

The volunteer behind the magic, NOMV Advocate Misty, also shared about her experience creating this special package for Marcy. Misty shared, “I hope it helps to brighten her day! NOMV Advocates are showing care for one another and reminding veterinary professionals how much they mean to others and the impact they have on the world.”

Thank you, Samantha, for being so supportive of Marcy and thank you to Misty, for creating and hand delivering this beautiful care package.

Volunteer Month Recap Thank you for helping us celebrate our wonderful volunteers throughout April for Volunteer Month!

NOMV is very fortunate to have an incredible group of volunteers that devote countless hours of their time to spread awareness and support the veterinary community. Although the month is over, we will continue to celebrate our volunteers throughout the year for all that they do!

NOMV Great Lakes We are happy to announce the launch of NOMV Great Lakes, the third official chapter of NOMV! The Great Lakes chapter will participate in local fundraising and awareness campaigns for Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin.

SPOTLIGHT This month’s spotlight features NOMV Sponsor, Midwest Veterinary Supply!
