The NOMV Board of Directors has approved an additional NOMV logo with an alternative tagline! The goal for this logo is to be more inclusive to the entire veterinary community, and display our vision of a veterinary profession that honors and elevates sustainable wellbeing.
This alternative logo will be used in addition to our standard logo.
NOMV Ambassadors is happy to announce our newest chapter, NOMV Idaho chapter!

NOMV is here to help through our Emergency Grants!
If you know of any veterinary clinics affected by a natural disaster, please direct them to our Emergency Grant application Through this program, we provide financial support to veterinary practices who are struggling to remain open or reopen during or after a natural disaster.
Thanks to our generous donors, NOMV is able to provide support to veterinary professionals in distress through our Support Grants program.
In January 2023, NOMV awarded $6,550 to 12 approved applicants.

In September, the guest speaker was professor and neuropsychology researcher, Dr. Mary Beth Spitznagel, who presented on her groundbreaking, veterinary-based research on caregiver burden transfer.
In October, NOMV Texas launched their first Race Around The World Team to raise awareness and funds for NOMV’s role in suicide prevention in our community
In early December, NOMV Texas celebrated their successes at our Annual Gala Awards ceremony in Santa Fe. NOMV Texas accepted three awards including 2022 Chapter of the Year Award and the Chapter Event of the Year Award for their webinar with Dr. Spitznagel. Additionally, NOMV Texas Cofounder and AAC Liaison, Dr. Mallory Preston, took home the 2022 Rising Volunteer of the Year Award
To close out the year, NOMV Texas hosted a group therapy discussion with Patrick Turbiville, LCSW.
