Thank You, Chris!

NOMV would like to thank Chris Kughn, LMFT for his years of service on the NOMV Board of Directors!

Chris joined the Board in 2020. Outside of NOMV, Chris is the Chief Executive Officer of a mental health agency and has more than 25 years of experience in behavioral health care. His passion for this work began as a licensed therapist serving adults, children and families in the juvenile justice, crisis stabilizat and adult homeless systems. Chris earned an M California Institute of Integral Studies.

When asked about his favorite part of being on the NOMV Board of Directors, Chris shared, "My favorite part of being a board member for NOMV was the inspiration I saw from the dedicated veterinary professionals who are committed to walking the talk. They are practicing in the space, so they know the impacts of mental health challenges and also have solutions to address these challenges. They are innovative and system disrupters in the best sense. The board and staff of NOMV are passionate and dedicated to making a significant change in the veterinary profession. This has been an honor both personally and professionally to serve this community."

From all of us at NOMV, thank you for your passion and dedication to NOMV and the mental wellbeing of the veterinary community!
