Pumping & Mixing Solutions for Wastewater Municipal & Industrial

Customised Pumping & Mixing Solutions

At Landia, we understand that no two plants are alike. That is why we don’t deliver offthe-shelf products, but pumping and mixing solutions tailored to the specific needs of your wastewater treatment plant.

We work closely with you to design the optimal solution – ensuring reliable operation, high efficiency, and long service life.

As a Danish manufacturer, we maintain full control of quality across every component.

This also means fast service and guaranteed access to original spare parts – even years after installation.

When you choose Landia, you get more than robust equipment. You gain a partner who listens, advises, and delivers solutions built for long-term performance.

The Digester Mixing System.

Mixing Nozzle UpperCrust Breaker

In the second stage, sludge is injected into the upper part of the digester, where biogas is entrained and mixed into the flow, supporting gas release and process stability.

Depending on digester type and size, a third stage can be included, where sludge is injected into the top zone to prevent surface crust formation.

Nozzle

The mixing process is carried out in stages:

In the first stage, sludge is injected into the lower part of the tank, creating powerful bulk mixing and preventing sedimentation.

Landia GasMix Nozzle

Recirculation through the upper and lower nozzles creates rotational flow throughout the digester, ensuring complete mixing.

A key component of the GasMix system is the chopper pump. It delivers the required flow and pressure to the nozzles while reducing solids to smaller particles, supporting a stable and efficient biogas process.

Why Choose Landia GasMix?

• 100% gas-tight system

No loss of methane or CO2

• Easy service and routine maintenance

Fewer man-hours required

• Improved health & safety

No personnel working in the gas zone

• No gas leaks or temperature drop

During maintenance

• Landia chopper pump technology

Effective solids reduction - prevents clogging

• Lower lifecycle assessment

Reduced demands on tank construction

• Minimal space required for service

Compared to other digester mixers

External Mixing. Simple. Safe. Reliable.

A complete external mixing system consisting of a Landia chopper pump, JetMix nozzles, pipework, and valves.

Nozzles are positioned at multiple levels to ensure full mixing and prevent surface crust formation.

Installed through the tank wall, the system eliminates the need for internal equipment.

• Lower service costs –all maintenance from ground level

• Safer working conditions – no confined space or height work

• No downtime – no need to empty the tank

Propeller rpm: 19 - 47 rpm

Material: AISI 316

The POPL-I is a low-speed flowmaker designed for efficient mixing and flow generation in large volumes, with minimal power consumption.

A key feature of the POPL-I is the adjustable propeller blades, allowing the pitch to be adapted to the specific application. This ensures optimised performance and energy efficiency.

The stainless steel propeller is designed for long service life under demanding conditions. For added reliability, Landia offers a lifetime warranty on the propeller blades.

• Energy-efficient largevolume mixing

• Adjustable blades for optimal performance

• Stainless steel construction with lifetime warranty

• Reliable operation with minimal maintenance

Side-entry Mixer

Landia’s POPTR-I is a versatile and efficient side-entry mixer, designed for demanding mixing applications.

The three-blade propeller and low rotational speed ensure effective mixing of highviscosity liquids such as dewatered and digested sludge.

With the motor mounted outside the tank, service and maintenance are simplified. The external motor position also provides

optimal cooling, making the POPTR-I suitable for high-temperature applications.

The POPTR-I is suitable for most tank types, including concrete and steel.
