Kids' Closet: At the Ready!

The Kids Closet Program, now at all four County schools, began in 2019 with a partnership between the public schools and NCEF. The closet at the high school is furnished with shelves built by the high school carpentry class, and is stocked with clothing and hygiene items. Children can pick up items in the closet free of charge, with no stigma attached. The closets in the elementary schools are on a smaller scale, and provide clean pants, socks, underwear and other items for these students.

Eastern Shore Signs LLC was a great supporter of the Kids Closet with donations of over 150 T-shirts and 200 hoodies!

Donations of cash, new socks, underwear, toiletries and gently used backpacks, coats, and warm clothing are welcome. If you have items you would like to donate, please email ncef@ncedufoundation.com to coordinate drop off of any items that you would like to donate. Donations of cash to NCEF are also welcome and can be utilized to purchase needed supplies.
