Dear Valued Guest, As summer rapidly approaches, we are excited to share with you all of the thrilling events and activities we will be hosting all summer long. Scheduled with something for everyone in mind, our summer activities and events provide the adventure, exploration and relaxation you deserve.

There’s never a dull day at the Hilton San Diego Resort & Spa. You and your family can enjoy daily “Fun Zone” activities on our beach. From complimentary paddle board lessons, kayak races, and motorboat tube rides, to sand castle contests and water balloon tosses, your fun family vacation awaits. Just add water! When you’re ready to unwind, lounge in your own private cabana or indulge in a poolside spa service while our trained staff members keep your little ones entertained with arts and crafts, board games, scavenger hunts and fish feeding at our Kids Klub.

Explore Mission Bay while embarking on a kayak excursion and set sail from our private dock.

Lounge on one of our new Fun Kats; a motorized floating lounge chair complete with a cooler to keep your beverages cold. Scuba dive in nearby La Jolla Cove! For those who prefer to stay dry, play a game of beach volleyball; tap into your artistic side with poolside pottery, or challenge your family to a life-size checker board game. End the day with a cocktail during happy hour at Frescos Pool Bar & Grill with fantastic drink and food specials and live entertainment!

For some night time fun, join us at the pool to watch a family favorite movie at our Dive-In Movie Theater. Popcorn’s on us! For an adult’s only evening, enjoy a quiet dinner at Acqua Restaurant with our Kids Night Out program. While you dine, your kids will be given special front row seats at our Dive-In Movie Night complete with pizza and a drink. For something a little sweeter, stop by our sponsored beach-front S’mores Nights and enjoy everyone’s favorite fireside treat along with family sing-along entertainment.

SUMMER VALUE PACKAGE Treat your family to a summer vacation they’ll never forget. You will enjoy beautifully decorated guestrooms, a front row seat every evening for the SeaWorld fireworks, and complimentary breakfast at Acqua each morning. Receive complimentary Kids Klub activities, Kids Night-Out passes, and a s’mores package to enjoy at a sunset bonfire on the beach.

Must book at least 3 days prior to arrival and stay a minimum of 3 nights from June 17, 2012 – September 28, 2012. Kids Night-Out includes food & drink and front row seats at our dive-in movie, and occurs twice a week (one weekday & one weekend). Rates starting at $199 per night.

RECREATION ACTION SPORTS RENTALS

We have a dock full of water sport rentals for guests of all ages and interests. For the adventurous, cruise the waters of Mission Bay on a powerboat, jet ski, water skis or wakeboard. For a mellower ride, try a sailboat, catamaran, paddle board, kayak, water cycle, or one of our brand new Fun Kats (motorized floating lounge chair complete with a beverage cooler). Join us a few mornings a week for a one hour kayak and paddle board tour of beautiful Mission Bay.

KIDS KLUB

For children ages 5-12. Activities include arts and crafts, playing board games, sand castle building, scavenger hunts, fish feeding, and more.

TENNIS LESSONS & COURT RENTALS

Clinics are $40 and run approximately 1.5 hours, 1 hour lessons are $85. Tennis courts can also be rented out on an hourly basis.

DIVE-IN MOVIES

Your family favorite movies play on a big screen poolside or on the beach (depending on the date).

Complete with complimentary fresh popcorn.

LA JOLLA COVE TOURS

We coordinate guided kayak, snorkel and scuba diving tours of La Jolla Cove on a daily basis. See one of most beautiful underwater environments in California.

FAMILY S’MORES NIGHT

We supply everything you need for a family fun s’mores night, including family campfire sing-along entertainment. 7pm-8pm at the fire pit located next to the bike shop on the beach. Complimentary to all hotel guests on select dates.

SEA WORLD FIREWORKS

Watch the Sea World Fireworks from the pool deck, Frescos, Acqua and Mission Bay Boardwalk!

June 2-3, 9-10, 16-30 and July 1-31 * Subject to change. Fireworks start at either 8:50pm or 9:50pm. Contact our concierge for a schedule.

BEACH FUN ZONE & FAMILY FUN ACTIVITIES

We host daily “Fun Zone” activities on our beach from paddle board lessons and kayak races to motorboat tube rides, sand castle contests, pottery and fun family activities such as water balloon tosses and relay races! All beach zone activities and family fun activities are free to all of our guests.

CABANAS

Accompanied with a flat screen TV and DVD player, complimentary DVD rentals, and WiFi connection. Reserve your cabana at the towel stand. Cabanas can be rented from 10am to 6pm.

KIDS NIGHT OUT

Kids get front-row bean bag seating at our Dive-in Movie, complete with pizza and a drink.

Kids Night Out lasts from 7:45pm to 10pm – the perfect amount of time for a nice dinner at Acqua for the parents. $25 per child.

BIKE RENTALS

Our bike shop is conveniently located adjacent to the resort on the Mission Bay boardwalk. We offer options for all ages, including beach cruisers, kids bikes, deuce coupes, surreys (2 and 4-person options), Segways and baby trailers. You and your family are welcome to take the newly renovated boardwalk trail along Mission Bay to Sea World for a day of fun at the park. A bike ride to Sea World is approximately 10 minutes from the resort.

SPA BREZZA Spa Brezza services are now available poolside at our new Spa Brezza “Island Spa Cabana�. Relax poolside and indulge in a Tropical Essence Massage, Signature Manicure & Pedicure Combo Package, or a Custom Blend Bar Sugar Scrub Treatment.

For a relaxing afternoon alone, treat yourself to a spa treatment while your kids are enjoying themselves at Kids Klub!

Spa Brezza offers 10% off all treatments for parents with children enrolled at Kids Klub.
