INTERNATIONAL IMPERIAL COURT SYSTEM OF THE UNITED STATES, CANADA, AND MEXICO

Good Evening Honorable Nobles and Guests,

Thirty-eight years ago had the honor of crowning the first Emperor and Empress of New York. For over three decades I have had the honor to witness the Imperial Court of New York become one of the most sparkling diamonds in the crown of our International Imperial Court System of the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The Court of New York’s community service is well known and is to be admired.

It was my honor to have been given the title of “Queen Mother I” of New York and I have also had the honor of having so many outstanding New York monarchs serving on the International Imperial Court Council and as Heirs. Seventeen years ago Empress Panzi was elected my first President of the International Court Council and now my Royal Daughter, Empress Coco Lachine will succeed me as Queen Mother II of the Americas.

Your Reigning Monarchs, and my Grandchildren , Emperor Ron and Empress Anne Tique are, and always have been, role models of successful and respected Monarchs. In both of their honors, I and the International Court Council are making a $5,000 donation to the Tyler Clementi Foundation making it a total of $10,000 donation during this reign. Also, a $1,000 donation will be given to your Coco Lachine Scholarship fund.

The International Imperial Court Council along with the National LGBTQ Task Force are proud to have established the National LGBTQ Wall of Honor now in the historic Stonewall Inn. And, we deeply appreciate the important role the Imperial Court of New York plays in the annual inductee ceremony held during New York Pride.

You New York Nobles have become my family and one that I will always cherish. This weekend I was not able to join you as I am in Florida being honored by the Harvey Milk Foundation with the Harvey Milk Medal of Honor, but know my thoughts and heart are with you tonight.

Have a most wonderful evening and God Bless you all.

Respectfully,

9
Empress Nicole The Great

Dear Imperial Court of New York:

PFLAG NYC is so grateful and honored to be a beneficiary of ICNY’s 37th annual Night of a Thousand Gowns It has always been an honor for our organizations to walk side by side, fighting the fight for equality for members of our LGBTQ community, whether at home, at school, or at work

PFLAG NYC, which is actually the “mother ship” of all PFLAG chapters in the United States and abroad, began as a very individual act of love and support in 1973 when Jeanne Manford, a mom and schoolteacher in Flushing, Queens, walked with her son Morty in a Christopher Street protest march By the end of the march Jeanne found herself surrounded by young people from the LGBTQ community who had no support at home In a short time a cohort had come together and the first PFLAG meeting was held at what is now Church of the Village on 13th Street and 7th Avenue

Our support groups, which are always free to attend, now include our General gender and sexual orientation based groups; our Trans Families group; Asian Pacific Islander Rainbow Parents; Black Families Circle; Dads Group; a Neuro/Gender Diversity group; a Grandparents group, a Partners Group and a Spanish language group.

Our Zoom meetings attract people from all over the country and the world. Our Safe Schools Program goes into NYC schools, providing workshops for students and professional development for educators to combat bullying, transphobia and homophobia, and promote inclusion and allyship

All of our groups and programs can only exist with the financial support of wonderful organizations like ICONY We are forever thankful for the exciting, and beautiful work you do and look forward to supporting one another for many years to come

With Gratitude,

PFLAG NYC Loving Families • Safe Schools • Inclusive Communities 130 E 25th St , Ste M1 New York, NY 10010 646-240-4288 www pflagnyc org
